Soon Devon and Lewis reached her place. It was a high-end apartment situated in a premium location.
Upon entering her flat, Devon stood rooted by the door. Her eyes roamed around the spacious living area, with classy, minimalist interior. Top-of-the-line appliances and housewares. A floor to length window covered by a curtain, and complete set of furnitures.
In her eyes, this room was rather pretty despite its minimal effort to make it grand. It was a literal simple yet elegant. It also looked cozy.
"Although I didn't want you to come back here knowing what happened, they said it's better for you to stay here. So, it can help you recover your memories." Lewis explained as he took off his shoes.
Devon furrowed her brows as he set his leather shoes aside. And then picked up an indoor slipper.
When Lewis was slipping his feet inside the house slippers, he halted and turned to her.
"Remove your shoes and change into this one." He said, reaching for the other pair.
