"I didn't want to live anymore...."
Qian fidgeted with his long sleeve, gently caressing his old and new scars. "Then I thought of you. I just…. I just wanted to know if you had survived. I was hoping and praying with all my heart that you would because I didn't want you to pay for my mistake. I didn't want you to suffer for the sins I've done."
"bullshit." Peng Peng scoffed. "What sins? You said you were trying to find a drug that will help cancer. Is that a lie?"
"n-no, it really can. It can alter DNA, making even the sickest person healthy and well in a day," Qian whispered, wiping his tears.
"Then you were not doing a sin. You were trying to help." He scooted close but still refused to come out of his sheet's mount. "the atom bomb was created for a good purpose... but it was used for a bad reason. Just think of this mishap like that. You created a bomb, now find a good use for it. Or better yet, heal the people by finding an antidote."
