Ernacht followed Roxus' small steps through the gardens of the Esprit Palace. He then followed Roxus around the palace while opening every closed door. Roxus looked like she was daydreaming while doing all that. Every maid who passed them just bowed their heads in respect and looked at Roxus with sad eyes. It seemed they were used to seeing Roxus act like this ever since she woke up.
Roxus didn't call anyone's name. She was just walking around looking for something. Her expression didn't change either, and her gaze was blank.
"How can Ayunda lie so easily?" asked Ernacht then, unable to take it anymore.
Roxus, as if she had just been forced back to earth, turned her head towards Ernacht. Her gaze was no longer empty and became focused. "Lie?"
Ernacht looked straight at Roxus without changing his posture and expression. "Ayunda thought I wouldn't know when Ayunda lied?" Ernacht asked then.
