After talking for a while with Paul prince Walter asked Paul to follow them to the palace so they can get him introduced to the king and queen. They had heard about how he helped them escape and so would be glad to meet him. Prince Walter knew that if they found out that Paul was within the kingdom and was not brought to see them they would feel bad so he had to invite him over.
Paul was even surprised when he got to know that Walter was a prince as that part had not been revealed to him. He coming to Tolaria Kingdom was as a result of his tracking not that he knew they were coming back home.
Paul thought it would be a great idea as he was sure they would have a more private place to talk well rather than where they were at the moment as he still had some information to give to them.
Just as they stepped in they noticed a strange man walking out of prince Hedy's chambers.
