Hedy knew he would have told Stefan earlier before the news got out knowing how eager he had been to get to know his elder brother. There were times when Stefan had suggested to him that they should find out and take a trip to wherever his brother was to see him not knowing Hedy had been visiting Walter but in secret. But Hedy was not compelled to say anything because he had wanted the news to come right from his father before he could say anything.
Even though he knew Stefan was not really offended and was only pretending to be he had to quickly tender an apology.
"Stefan I am sorry, I was not thinking straight" Remember you were busy scolding me for moving out alone so I couldn't even mention anything else to you he added.
It just occurred to Stefan that Hedy was right after all, he remembered truely they had not really talked much in dept over what happened.
