Avulo had observed how nervous prince Walter became immediately she mentioned she had come for him in particular. He began to panic within him because he felt he message might have something about his real identity of which if she mentions it out there it will cause trouble for him as there was no guarantee that the guards out there with them would keep the secret. Avulo inturn had already seen he was nervous so had to talk him out of it first.
