At the council meeting hall the council members were all looking confused from the way the king was talking. He had paused for a while after his last statement to observe their reactions. Then he began again...
"I wish to present to you all my first son and your prince, Prince Walter " he proudly announced looking and signalling to Walter to take a stand while they applauded him which was a way of welcoming him ,many were still with a puzzled look showing on their faces.
They were all amazed first at his sudden return and then how big and good looking he has grown to be. They only saw and knew him when he was just a young boy of 6.
Some of them wanted to go into full details on why he really left and where he had been to all these while but they were afraid of bringing up the topic as king Erikson had issued a stern warning for the question never to come up again since he had already told everyone that his son had gone away to be trained.
