Paul had tried tracing master Egon and prince Walter from the exit route where they had followed into the forest down to the old abandoned house. There he found out that was the place they were abducted and brought back to his team base before he got them relaesed. It was then he found out that they never got back to the caves training center after he had relaesed them. He had not asked them where they would head to because he was confident to find them wherever they might go to. And so with his determination to finding them he decided to go back to start his tracking right from the exit he had used to set them free from their base. While he did the Tracking he had done he was careful enough not to attract any attention to what he was doing.
He wasted no time before he went back but this was after those he had come with had gone back.
