Back at the caves, It had been confusing and rough times for Leopold and all who stand against prince Walter. They had received a message to inform them that prince Walter and master Egon had escaped from where they were kept.
After Paul had helped them escape he made sure to cover every trace and tracked that could expose him for helping them out. One thing he was very good at was tracking so he knows how to cover up if he does not want anyone to find anything.
