Prince Walter was not surprised after hearing that his brother prince Hedy wanted Mila as his personal maid while he was gone. He knew his brother now sees him as a rival and would want to have whatever belongs to him in other to have an edge over him.
He was happy their mother had not granted him the request. It shows that she and their father king Erickson would never support prince Hedy in whatever they feel was wrong that he is doing.
Before now he had already started believing that his brother has an evil motive in his sudden interest in Mila but would rather keep it to himself. It was in the way morning hours that prince Walter decided to go back to his room in other to allow Mila rest her head for a while so as to be fit for the day's activities.
