Mo Li rushed towards Mo Chou's bed and was about to pull her into a hug but Liu Qiang, who was right behind her took a hold of her before she could and stopped her just in time.
"She just woke up, honey. You have to be gentle". Liu Qiang reminded Mo Li calmly.
"Ohh yeah, I'm sorry. I just got too excited" Mo Li apologised with a small voice.
Mo Chou couldn't bear to see her mom more sad so she took ahold of her hand and said in a coy voice, "I missed you mommy".
Instead of calming down, Mo Li burst into tears once again. Mo Chou pulled her towards the bed and gave her a hug. She tried to console her by saying that she was ok now.
Mo Li cried in Mo Chou's arms for a while before slowly calming down.
Mo Chou took a look at her dad who was standing beside the bed and gave him a smile. Liu Qiang's eyes were red as well and he returned her smile with a teary one of his own.
