Chapter 77 - Sentimental

Reaper checked his watch for what felt like the hundredth time, 'it's already five minutes past our agreed time, is he going to bail on me'?

He knew that five minutes wasn't much, but he had been anxiously waiting for twenty minutes now as he had arrived early.

Finally, the door to the private room opened and a man on a wheelchair came in. "Ahh, sorry. I was a little late, wasn't I? It's just that it took time to exit my van".

"Ohh, it's fine. Don't worry about it" Reaper said immediately, he had actually forgotten that he had quit the assassin organisation after losing both his legs during a mission.

Reaper hurriedly stood up and shifted the chair to the side so that the wheelchair would fit comfortably while the man watched silently.

After he was done, Reaper sat down and the man spoke up, "haa, how time passes. You look just like your father now, and well mannered too. You were just a cute little kid the last time I saw you".
