Mateo excused himself and left for my room as I was about to follow him. But Linc stopped me " Hey where are you going we haven't even caught up on each other's lives yet." As he said that I froze not knowing what to do if I should follow my Husband or stay and catch up with Linc, Little did I know that the small little mistake I made would complicate my life more. I glanced at the stair case once more and sat back down and grinned at Linc and excused us from the dinner table and I dragged him down to the Garden It's my 2nd favorite place here in Fathers house because that place held a lot happy memories and in that moment all the bitter sweet memories came flashing back like a movie and that's when Linc turned and saw a bit of tears in my eyes " Hey what's wrong?" He asked while he cupped my cheeks in his hands then wiped my tears with his thumb making me have proper glance at his face the moonlight hitting his face his loving and beautiful eyes his pointed nose and plump lips.
I stood there looking at him being smitten by his charm while he looked at me full of love and concern but I cleared my throat before I did something I would regret we both came back to our senses and kept a distance between each other " So how's life?" I asked after composing myself "Fine but it would have been a lot better if you were in it." He said naturally as if I had no husband waiting for me in my bed tonight, I nodded at his response " So how's life?" He asked with the same tone and words I used I looked at him and chuckled a bit " It's okay." I said while making my way to sit on the bench where we both use to sit at when we were still kids we both talked about random things in the past and present basically "catching up" we talked and drank for an hour or two until I got a call and I looked at the caller ID and a small smile appeared on my lips " Hey umm Linc do you mind if I take this?" I asked while standing up " I guess from the smile on your lips it's probably someone important?" He said and stood up too " I see even if I did mind there is really nothing I can do about it correct? I'll just go inside you should to it's getting colder", He paused for a second and continued "it's nice seeing you again My Little Everly" He said the last words while patting my head and with that he walked away and went inside while I answered the phone " Hello?"
??? P.O.V.
" Ughh it's been weeks and the Dove is still not meeting her secret lover how am I suppose to catch her and ruin her image now!?" The person said while massaging their temple due to frustration
" Just wait a little longer My Love." The person said while walking beside the mysterious man "We'll ruin their images one by one starting by the youngest to the oldest then finally the Big Boss then after that we will execute them and their families in front of their dear Father as all of this is his fault he made my life unbearable it's time for my revenge I'll make him suffer and when I decided that he had enough I might kill him to." The man looked at the person a little scared " I know you Dislike Mr. Lombardi but is all of this really necessary?" He asked the person unsure if he still should side with the person after knowing their motives to the man and his family that looked innocent well they aren't that innocent they are a mafia after all but their different they don't hurt innocent people like other mafias so the man is curious of what the Lombardi's did to the person for them to hate them this much.

I finished talking with Joshua and I was about to sneak in the room when I was near the bed the lampshade suddenly opened and I saw a Furious Mateo sitting on the bed with his arms crossed and was giving me death glare well if I hadn't drank I would have gave him the same death glare as he was challenging me but I realized I was in the wrong this time so I just looked down and I opened my mouth about to apologize for coming to bed too late but he interrupted me before I could speak " Save it I don't want to hear how good of a time you had with your Precious Lover." He said then rolled his eyes and laid down and faced the other side of the bed I sighed and went to my side of the bed and laid down but before I slept I face him but all I saw was his back but I still hugged him " Mateo look no matter how many ex-lovers show up here I will never leave you for them they are the past and I will never ever exchange my past for my present and future I love you to the moon, the whole universe and back never forget that." I said and removed my hand from his waist but before I could turn around he caught my hand and turned to face me then he hugged me and I pecked him on the lips the pouted " Why what's wrong?" I said while smiling brightly at his cute behavior " That was not a kiss!" He said making me chuckle " Then why don't you show me what a kiss is." I said while smirking then he hovered above me with a dirty smirk on his full lips " Don't mind if I do." Then he kissed me passionately.
