A small boy was staring straight at them.
A ripped piece of clothing covered his body as he used his hand to wipe the tears from his chubby cheek. This was the child that she saw in her vision. Just what is going on here?
"Is that — " Before she could finish her words, Hunter already disappeared from her side. Cassandra blinked, and the next thing she saw, the prince was standing in front of the child, a sword in his hand. "Stop! Hey, Hunter! Stop!"
"What?" Hunter glared at the child. "What are you doing?"
"That child…"
"Is a dark one."
"What?" The boy's eyes were not red! Horror registered in her eyes when another vision flashed. "Get away from him!" She didn't have much time, she used her fire to create some distance between the child and Hunter. On the outside, it looked like she was trying to attack him.
"What the hell are you doing!?"
"Get away from him."
"What the— "
