At lunch break, the teacher sent off Anna to the student council room so that she can hang around the most respectable children of ************** Private Highschool, and then potentially help her out with anything that a new girl would stuggle with, what a plain set-up.
Anna on her way kept thinking back to Emil, she wondered if he was too nice to say that she wasn't his type or if she miscommunicated something. After the glare she got from Julien, subconsciously her self-confidence dived down. So, now I have to socialise with the student council, Anna thought, they could not like me and it would turn out to be horrible, what if they too will want nothing to do with me? What about-
"It seems that the Council Rooms aren't open, I'll get going but they are here every day so soon someone will come up." The teacher realigned his glasses and left her to be, "I need to get my own lunch", he explained.
Few minutes have passed, Anna was glaring out in the windows that were in the corridor. She felt segregated, could I be like them, she thought. She felt a shiver, from a presence.
"Do you know where Big J is Bitch?", A male voice called out from the back, only to laugh. A different one calked out, "Damn, you really are mean to this 'poor' girl, but she isn't with the council."
"B-big J?" She was nervous as two males started approaching her. They were more muscle-bound and constantly smiling, they had their shirts messed up and Anna could smell the energy drink being mixed with sweat. "
"Oh my fucking gosh Terry, she doesn't know the big shot. Isn't it so funny?"
Terry was more focused on the fact that there was no one in the council room, to help the girl.
"Listen up, Jace if we can get Big J to show up then we could smack his pretty teeth in, so let's take the girl. We've seen you with him earlier this morning with that asshole." Terry started to get mad and punched the window. Anna covered her mouth and stepped back - she had no clue why this was happening, and if someone will help her.
At the back of the corridor behind the corner wall, Ray was looking at what was happening, he broke in sweat. He didn't even breathe loudly or anything that would point to him. This isn't my territory, if I tell them I'm from the council, I'll get smashed to pieces. He had food that he got from the cafeteria in a little bag next to him. Beforehand he talked for a while with Ollie, and Emil - Julien was off somewhere but they couldn't tell where. The only thing Ray knew was that he was meant to help out the new student. (He didn't hear the robotic voice from this far, Jace and Terry were loud but shorter than Ray.)
Anna kept looking for an opening to leave until she had seen a pair of glasses with Auburn hair. They both looked at each other praying for the other to make some kind of a move.
"Terry, do you have that box cutter on you, as we could play pretend and cut her hair as a trophy - Unless you want to hang out with Us. We are quite the good guys at heart, you know."
Ray didn't know either of them before and he knew that was utter BS. He couldn't move - catching their attention was a suicide.
Another student arrived - he was ordinary, the simple black hair, full school uniform and many would say that he has no remarkable features except-
"Hey, do you need anything from the Council you three?" The youth smiled at them calmly, coming to the rescue.
"Jace, someone's trying to ruin our fun." Terry gathered his weight and showed it off to the intruder, cracking his knuckles. He was full of confidence as Terry felt as if he deserved to punch someone and that vice-president Luke was perfect for the occasion.
Luke instead just looked gleefully at Ray, he was shorter than Ray by two inches but he certainly felt more superior, than his supervisor.
"Oh, of course - w-we are just trying to have our dinner, so unless you have a bother we will get inside," Ray mumbles throughout while keeping close to the wall as he tried to reach and unlock the door, he almost dropped the Key.
"Lucky Luke is at it again - we are looking for J. Yet it seems he's not here. So Terry and I will keep going." Because they've been outnumbered the two did go, Luke kept smiling and dropped it after they left to talk to Anna. She felt as if Ray was quite pathetic as soon after Luke made those other guys leave she was relieved.
"Are you alright? The teacher sent you? You want to head back to class?" It was all that Ray could hear from inside of the council room as he tried to take a breather. He figured that Julien could be the one they are looking for.
