He sat beside Mellina as Jake scooted a seat.
The teasing session was never-ending. After a lot of teasing, the coach interrupted them.
" Okay, let's give them a break until we speak something important..." He said looking at everyone.
" Today, I appreciate your performance today! You guys did awesomely! I am proud of being your coach." He smiled at them.
" As you all know today's match has taken us to the direct semi-finals, I wanted to toast for my team and that's why we are here..." He started speaking with appreciating all their efforts he spoke for a solid 15 minutes.
" Enough of the talk, let's toast for all my awesome players who made the team semi-finals with their efforts and cheers!" They clinked their glasses and sipped their champagne.
" Coach, I want to hand over my captaincy to Jake for the next match!" Ryan said all of a sudden.
" I am resting for the next two matches!" Ryan said making the coach smile.
