Jennifer was standing outside, seeing Lucas being taken away in front of her eyes.
She didn't feel anything wrong, just the numbness in her heart but it started to feel relieved. Inside her own will, she knew how much she craved to see that day.
The cops took Lucas, without him protesting. The proof was all in his direction, and this was enough to prove that he would need to present at the police station.
Jack came to stand beside her. He had his hands inside his pocket, and viewed the same sight as hers, "Lucas was bound to pay for his crimes."
"The clips have already tarnished the reputation. It won't take long for the cops to know that he is guilty." Jack passed the comment but Jennifer stayed mum.
