"Because… we know that her identity isn't that simple, to let her live on any unknown island. For years, she has been living with us.. in front of our eyes. Although, we let her go for higher studies that weren't a.... a threat to our life.."
Amelia's face was too serious for any joke.
She kept her request crystal clear in front of them, which made Lucas immediately kept his phone aside and listened to the conversation.
In the starting he considered them to be present here for Jennifer's location until they asked him for permission to travel to another state which gained his interest.
