Javier's eyes narrowed when he heard the man's words. "Tell me more about it. I wish to know about what Lucas has to do with Jennifer."
The impatientness and eagerness were quite clear in his eyes and voice. His heart was thumping too loudly to hear the secret.
"I can't investigate much about the entire thing deeply but it is informed that Mr. Lucas was probably giving something to the entire Taylor family in return for the marriage with Ms. Jennifer."
It was all expected. How can a family-like Taylors accept Lucas as his son-in-law until and unless he is willing to offer something valuable to them?
