"Because he is just like me. He also gets sad whenever he sees me sad." Ariana's eyes clearly showed her sweet gesture which Javier hardly denied.
"He is a young boy, who is entangled in this cruel world because of his mother. But don't worry, he will be fine... with Sierra taking care of him." Javier said to ease Ari's unsettled feelings.
At the same time, Ellen finally decided to break their moment. His eyes traced back to look at Javier who had raised his gaze again to see his friend.
"They are here to take Ariana with them." Ellen reminded, to which Javier gave a nod. He shifted his attention back to Ariana and bent on his knees.
"My girl, I have to leave for a business meeting. Be a good girl and do not make things difficult for anyone in the family. I'm sure your great-grandpa will be very pleased to have you there." Javier's speech contained his pleasantness and Ariana agreed with his words.
