Emily froze on her spot with her wide eyes. He wasn't only harsh on her but also bringing her past actions which had brought shame to her, it made her ears turn red. Not only was she alarmed but those actions were enough to anger her. But she couldn't direct her anger at anyone, which in return had turned into tears.
Sniffling, she rubbed her nose and ran out from the scene without muttering enough courage to face anyone who all had gathered around. Her heart was broken into pieces but she had no one to blame.
Meanwhile, Charles and Sierra were greeted with the broken glasses on the floor and the few last sentences of Javier. They weren't superseded by his sudden outburst, even Sierra muttered, "I told her to not test the luck today. She is hell bent."
