Amelia was in a deep sea of thoughts when David drew her attention. "Am, we should try to find Jennifer as soon as possible. Don't you remember how Olivia threatened our lives?"
Amelia lifted her eyes to look at her husband who was sitting in the opposite direction on the couch. A scoff left her mouth, after hearing his sentence.
"Do you think that they have that much power to kill us? They might do, but Jennifer will never marry Lucas after that."
"Does Lucas even love her, mother?" Emir asked with a bulk of confusion. All of them assumed that Lucas fell for Jennifer's beauty but to be correct, Emir didn't value that shit at all.
In Emir's eyes, Lucas wasn't like other men who just fall for any lady. He knows the real man behind him, which his parents might not see due to their lust for money.
