Chereads / After a Terrifying Resurrection, My Visualization is the Sun! / Chapter 5 - The Mysterious Elinda Carlom

Chapter 5 - The Mysterious Elinda Carlom

A mischievous girl's voice sounded from the sky, startling Cale, who was still mocking the clown.

What?

I'm just posturing. Is there a need to slap my face so quickly?

Cale raised his head following the voice, and saw a petite figure in the sky slowly gliding on a pitch-black cane.

"Uh…"

Cale was stunned.

Skateboarding was out of fashion in this day and age, so she skated on a cane?

Cale hurriedly activated the power of the sun within his body, preparing for battle.

The figure slowly slid down.

The other party's appearance gradually became clearer.

The other party was a twelve-thirteen year old girl!

She had shoulder-length grey spiky hair, and was wearing a lolita style dress. She looked like a noble lady!

She was wearing a pink-and-white-striped stockings, and she was fiddling with the cane that was about the same height as her. She showed a different kind of liveliness.

"Hello, I'm Elinda Carlom."

Elinda greeted with a smile.

"Uh…"

Looking at Elinda who was politely introducing herself, Cale was obviously stunned for a few seconds.

He did not sense any malice from the other party, not even a trace of hostility.

What was she doing? Was she really here to greet him?

Cale, who couldn't figure it out, politely introduced himself to the other party.

"Uh, hi. I'm Cale."

"Wow, your name is Cale. That's a cute name. Let's shake hands."

He shook hands with her.

Her hand was really small.

The handshake was short, mostly because Cale let it go first. He didn't want to be seen as a weird uncle.

Although the other party wasn't human.

However, when they shook hands, the smile on the girl's face became even wider and her eyes were filled with surprise.

The young girl was dressed very elegantly, looking very much like a lolita!

Especially when he was dressed in a strict gentleman's attire, the contrast was surprisingly cute. He looked small and cute.

Cale: …

Was she really not here for revenge?

Cale's head was full of question marks.

"System, do you know her background?"

"Host, your authority is insufficient. You need to unlock the information through energy points."

"How much do you need?"

"What kind of information do you want to unlock?"

"Everything, of course!"

"Unlocking all information requires 100 trillion points of energy!"

"100!!! How many… trillions?"

"That's right."

Cale was stunned by the system's affirmative tone.

100 trillion?

It was not 1 million, nor was it 10 million. It directly crossed billions and entered into trillions.

He looked at the smiling young girl in front of him, Elinda Carlom, and he felt sick.

How was this a little cutie with a lolita's style? This was probably some hideous horror wearing a sheepskin.

A ghost only gave him 2000 points of energy.

This girl in front of him was directly valued at 100 trillion!

She wouldn't just swallow me whole, would she?

At this thought, Cale felt his legs tremble, but he forced the shivering back with his willpower.

Elinda looked at Cale, who was silent. She frowned and said,

"It feels like you're thinking about something very rude."

"Uh, no, not at all, you're thinking too much…"

"System, I'm finished. Why don't you just remove the binding and escape?"

It was like he had just started the game and immediately ran into the ultimate BOSS that would only appear at the end of the maze. Anyone that was a human would show a reaction.

System: …

The System did not know what to say.

Was there a need to be so cowardly?

"Host, don't worry, the other party doesn't have any hostile intentions. It's better to say that the basic friendliness of the other party has just risen to a whole new level!"

"What do you mean, when?"

Cale was very puzzled.

"When you shook hands."

.........

For a moment, the situation was awkward. Neither side spoke.

Cale remained silent. It was better to say that he really wanted to leave this bloody area as soon as possible!

Elinda was still smiling at Cale and even curiously observing him. The more she looked, the more certain she became.

"We'd better get back, Lord Elinda. The Grand Duke will be furious if he wakes up and finds out you brought me out."

"!!!"

Suddenly, a voice rang out, pulling the panicking Cale back to reality.

Who?

There were others around!

Elinda placed the cane in front of her. The curved handle of the cane revealed two-three black dots under which a small mouth appeared.

This cane was actually alive!!!

Cale was astonished, the one who talked earlier was this cane!

Elinda bent her cane and pouted as she said angrily,

"Hmph, that bamboo pole won't get angry at me."

"But, Lord Elinda, if you're always so mischievous, the Grand Duke will spank your ass too."

"We are blood-related. He won't hit me!"

With that, she exerted more force.

"Do you want to see if I will break you?"

"Have mercy, Lord Elinda."

The cane begged for mercy.

It was as if a little girl that had escaped was about to be discovered, and was complaining . The scene was very harmonious.

"Aren't you going to kill me?" Cale asked.

Elinda looked puzzled.

"Eh, why?"

"I killed your people."

Cale was referring to the evil spirit clown. The girl in front of him was with the demon.

Since he had killed the evil spirit, the other party must have come to find him for revenge.

However, after hearing Cale's words, Elinda seemed to have heard a funny joke.

"Hahaha, you sure are interesting. That was just a game. I'm a human.

As a human, why would I kill you for a toy? "

As she spoke, Elinda stepped forward and gave Cale a hug.

This frightened Cale, but seeing that the other side didn't do anything else, he didn't attack.

Elinda, who was hugging Cale, looked happy as if she was hugging something she loved.

Cale was expressionless.

What expression could he have?

In front of a big shot, it was not called being afraid. It was instinct.

"I still have things to do. I believe we will meet again next time," Elinda murmured in Cale's ear before letting go.

With a flip of her body, she stepped on the pitch-black cane and flew away while the cane screamed in pain.

In the distance, Cale could still hear her saying goodbye.

"See you again…"

Cale looked at the distant Elinda Carlom.

"By the way, what were they here for?"
