Zaen had become breathless after taking on another horde of ghouls. It was the biggest horde he had ever faced. Even bigger than the one that cornered him inside the special force headquarters. It wasn't like Zaen had been feeling heroic or unconquerable for some reason and decided to test his skills against hundreds of ghouls. It was more like he was lured there by the ghouls.
As soon as he walked inside the other realm, a couple of hours ago, he found a lot of ghouls in front of him. This scenario wasn't anything out of the ordinary. After all, the realm was always filled with ghouls, if it wasn't, then Zaen would not have been here in the first place. However, Zaen did notice a difference in the way they were behaving.
