A week had passed since Zaen informed Uncle Mack about what had happened inside the Mall. For obvious reasons, he only told him that it was an accident and he was saved because of it, but Uncle Mack was having his doubts about the way Zaen retold the story. His suspicion got even worse when Zaen said he had proof of what went down there. Zaen handed him the thumb drive that was kept with the rest of his belongings.
Uncle Mack saw the video and he was having a hard time believing that Zaen had been utterly dominated by someone in hand-to-hand combat. It wasn't impossible but he had sparred with Zaen quite often before he got busier than ever, and thus he knew what Zaen was capable of. The only explanation Uncle Mack had about it was that Zaen either was attacked by surprise and didn't get a chance to retaliate or that he wanted himself to get beaten for whatever reason.
