Zaen thought he'd feel pain when he finally regained consciousness. After all, he had been a fool to rush into a wall of fire like that. But there was nothing. His body just felt weirdly numb. It was a similar feeling as one had when that sleeping for a very long time. Even his vision was a bit hazy so he couldn't see things clearly. It also didn't help that the room he was in was cloaked in darkness.
His head and limbs had been seemingly pinned to restrict unnecessary movement. He could still move them, but only to a certain degree. If he tried to move it further away, he would've felt quite some pain. Though it wasn't like he had much energy to move around anyway.
