As the rain became intense, it soaked up Zaen's denim jeans with no effort. Thankfully his shoes were waterproof so none of the murky water could wet his feet. But it didn't make his mood better, even in the slightest. Zaen hated the rain. He had never liked it to begin with as to him rain just made things inconvenient.
Also, the rain had always been unpredictable in Lizan. They could be having a sunny day and the next minute, bam! You're soaked knee-deep in water. Even the towering building on both sides of the alley couldn't stop Zaen from getting soaked in water. Thankfully, he had a hoodie on him to protect him from the waters in the dimly lit alleyway.
