The next morning Zaen left the house even before the sun was up. He left a letter behind for both Aeron and Kayla. In Aeron's letter, he simply stated that he had places to be and things to buy but promised that he wasn't going to anything dangerous. And in Kayla's letter, he warned her that if anything happened to his brother, he would kill her himself. He also told her a few choice words but that stuff was irrelevant.
Although in his letter, he had said that he was going to buy some stuff, he wasn't going to get groceries. He was there to get some weapons and gears. Even though, he expected most of them to be waste and nothing more. But it was better to stock up his inventory with whatever he could get his hands on, than head into the other realm without anything.
