Chapter 12 - Why

CRINGE PART :')

I felt an icy hand pulling my wrist towards the exit before I could go farther in the darkness.

"What the hell do you think you are doing?" he growled after aggressively pulling me towards the living room. Aron's whole body was towering over me making me feel kinda embarrassed because of going in that dark room without anyone's permission.

Though I tried to keep my cool as I attempted to leave the house with an expressionless face. But I stopped on my tracks as soon as Aron grabbed my hand from behind. I looked back at him, he looked deep in my eyes. Looking like he wanted to tell me something, Aron gestured me to sit on a chair as he sat on another one.

"Why are you here Yuqi?" he asked with basically a robotic tone, no existence of emotion in his voice.

"You didn't come to practice today. Why?" I asked and Aron scoffed.

"I don't even know why you are doing all this and I'm still being obedient to you. Be grateful!"

Now I could recognize smooth sarcasm in both his voice and face. This thing annoyed me the most— Aron wasn't taking this seriously. I was doing these for his good and he seemed to not care at all.

The great sages have said, "Never waste your time." That was the exact thing I was doing. Wasting my time in this place and being bothered cause my 'student' didn't come to his 'Mentality changing school.'

"Yuqi!" Aron called my name out. I came back to my senses. Maybe I was stressed, good for me, stress isn't good for my health and being more stressed meant being more closer to death.

"Are you sure you are okay?" a hand was being waved infront of my eyes. It was annoying, what else I could do?

"Yuqi!" Aron slightly raised his voice this time, still calm, surprisingly there wasn't any presence of sarcasm. I looked at him and hummed, hinting him to continue.

"I asked a question," he spoke.

"I'm fine," I replied, not looking at Aron this time. I could feel him raising an eyebrow at me. He wasn't that dumb to think I was telling the truth.

"You need rest," he sighed.

"Yes I need. Grave is the best place to rest."

"What dud you just whisper to yourself?"

"None of your business. Make sure to be a little punctual," I stood up from my place and turned my heel towards the exit, leaving my 'student' dumbfounded.
