Kyle all but picked me up and threw me over his shoulder as he carried me out of the house. When he was close enough to me, he had just grabbed my elbow and swung me up into his arms. He was ready for the best part of any wedding: the wedding night.
"A bridal carry for the bride." He whispered to me.
"I'm pretty sure it's just over the threshold that you're supposed to carry her." Laremy laughed from near the stairs.
"There is a threshold on the way out of here as well as into the room tonight. I will carry her for as much of the time that she will let me." His grin was all for me though, since he didn't take his eyes from my face when he responded to Laremy.
"Whatever you say, studly. I was just pointing it out to you." Laremy's words made everyone still in the house, namely EZ, his lovers, and his family, start to laugh.
Kyle didn't seem to mind the laughter at all though, he just walked toward the door and EZ opened it for him.
