"Well, I don't really know what we should do, if I'm being honest," Ezrahel responded, looking upon his dying body with confusion. "Honestly, I say that we should just leave it in this land of curses and see if I can return to reality. After all, I may have been a Blood Warden, but that doesn't mean I can't return to reality. We just have to check. Activate Curse of the Bloodied Soldier again, and then use your Bloodied Soldier skill to summon me back. I want to see if we can still do this." Ezrahel told Aaron, who snapped his fingers. "See you on the other side," Soul responded before manually activating the effect while clicking his fingers for a second time.
They appeared back in the bunker, blood still staining the floor. It was the same as when the pair had left it. "How the hell did I stay down here? It's all dirty, bloody, and dark. Maybe Blood Wardens like that kind of environment?" Amana asked herself, trying to find a reason for why she'd been down here this entire time. "Don't question it. We'll be leaving once I give you an item. After all, you haven't calmed down your mana at all throughout this entire venture." Soul responded, alerting Amana to her exposed mana. She tried to hide her mana, but she couldn't do it.
"Here, I'll limit your mana for you. After all, there's a different item I'll give to you to control your mana amount. Remember, this will correlate to your strength. The lower the amount of mana you expel, the weaker your attacks. I just wanted to make you aware of this since you'll be less powerful." Soul responded as he looked at Amana, imagining her expelled mana being manually decreased. He quickly limited her mana to a reasonable level of 100 for this world, which would be one thousand for the Beastpeople. It should be strong enough.
"Is that enough?" Soul asked, a smile on his face. "Yeah, that should be good. However, we need to bring Ezrahel back." Amana responded, reminding Soul of their original objective. Soul snapped his fingers, the area around them shattering, even if it was for just a second as Ezrahel tried to cross over to their reality. A silhouette appeared behind Soul, illuminated by red light. Soul turned around, only to see Ezrahel smiling at him. "Well then, I guess we can say that you can be summoned to this world as well!" Soul announced, extending his hand for a handshake with Ezrahel. Ezrahel went to accept his handshake, but as he grabbed onto Soul's hand, it passed through, almost as if he was an ethereal entity.
"Oh? Give me a second. I should be able to do something about that." Soul sighed, activating GHOUL. He wanted to see if he could make Ezrahel an ethereal force. After all, he wouldn't be of much help to anyone if he was stuck floating around like a ghost.
{Activate GHOUL on (Ezrahel Kishima)? This will turn him into a physical race titled (Overdriven Humanoid). Are you sure you wish to proceed?}
{Yes} {No}
"Well, this is quite ominous. If I turn you into a physical entity, you'll turn into an Overdriven Humanoid, and I'm unsure if it's a good thing or a bad thing, but we'll see what happens." Soul explained before pressing the {Yes} option. "Soul, is it a good idea to do this?" Amana asked, worried. "Hell if I know, Amana. I'm curious, though." Soul responded, smiling.
>{Yes}<
{Altering (Ezrahel Kishima)...}
{Completed.}
"And, it should be done by now. How do you feel?" Soul asked, curious. "You know, I feel just fine. It seems like nothing changed. Maybe I was an Overdriven Human before I died?" Ezrahel responded before spontaneously exploding with light. Soul turned his head away so he wouldn't be blinded, hoping that Amana did the same.
As the light died down, Soul looked at the new form of Erahel, his body no different than before. The only new things were the armour he wore, along with the swords on his back and waist. The armour was made of black, obsidian-like material. However, unlike its original version, this obsidian counterpart was denser than most materials that could be found on this planet. It was of similar strength to Orichalcum. It looked almost like plate armour, except there were spikes on the outside of every joint. They were not in any place that would stop him from moving.
The swords on his waist were two odachi's, similar to Soul's, but the blades were only around three feet long. If you measure in centimetres, they were 90 to 92 centimetres in length. The sword on his back was much more impressive, being a greatsword that measured around five and a half feet long, which means that the metal blade was approximately 165 centimetres in length. Quite long.
"So, how are you feeling NOW?" Soul asked, curious to see how the new Ezrahel felt about his new body. "It feels weird. It's almost like this body isn't mine, but that's kind of understandable considering I just became physical again." Ezrahel responded, stretching his back. The sound of his bones popping was something Soul had forgotten to do for quite a while. Soul cracked his knuckles, wincing for a second as he had forgotten how it slightly hurt for the first time you do it after a while.
"So...what do we do now?" Amana asked, reminding Soul of something. "Oh yeah, I need to give you that item that controls your mana levels," Soul remembered, a black portal appearing in front of him. "Hmm..." Soul said to himself, deciding on a design. He reached into the dark mist, his hand grasping onto a flat, two-centimetre-wide object. He pulled it out, and the item fit in the palm of his hand. "This is the object to control your mana levels, Amana. All you have to do is type in the number, and your mana will extend to that level. I would recommend putting it past ten thousand unless you really need to hit something." Soul explained, handing the device to Amana. "I'm sure you don't need one, Ezrahel?" Soul asked.
"No, I'm perfectly capable of lowering my mana level," Ezrahel responded as Aaron looked towards the little maze they had to pass to leave. "Well then, it seems like we should make our exit. Alright, let's move out." Soul told the group before walking towards the maze. They were finally done with this bunker and were prepared to go back outside.
