"Soul is going to be helping us with Aaron's quest. Remember, we still have people to bring to our city, along with the competition that Aaron was planning on hosting." Sciat explained as Soul looked towards them with a slight smile on his face. He thought it might be fun. "After all, since Soul is taking the place of Aaron, Soul will be the one who guides our expeditions. He's, technically, the King of this place, just like how Erald is the King of the Human Kingdom, so it's only fair that he takes the lead.
"How do you suppose we do that? After all, it's not like Soul has the conversational abilities that Aaron has." Crystet responded, looking over towards Soul with a look of disdain. He didn't like the monster sitting across from him. It was reasonable, considering the circumstances and events that Soul put Crystet through. "Listen. I may not be Aaron, but I may have some good qualities." Soul explained as his pink iris scanned the room. Nothing abnormal was in the area as it was built like a house from Earth. "After all, I didn't absorb ALL of his bad qualities. Aaron still has his imperfections, but that's because none of us is perfect. After all, we all have something we dislike about ourselves." Soul continued, his left hand and arm covered in the black Corruption. His fingers, as per usual, became pointed, although no pink cracks appeared on his body.
"I believe that I can be a good person. I just need to do what Sciat has suggested. That's why I'm out here and why Aaron has sent me out here to deal with it. Plus, I'll learn how people interact and act around other people. " Soul explained further, resting his head on his arm, using his leg as a platform for his arm. "I'm fine with that plan. Do you guys have any concerns?" Sciat responded, posing the question to everyone else there. "I do. Soul" Crystet spoke up before Sciat stared at him with a look that could kill even a Basilisk. "We know that you dislike Soul, Crystet, but if Aaron made the decision, it's unlikely that he'll go back on it. You're just going to have to put up with Soul for the time being." Sciat responded before looking to the others for their answers.
"Honestly, I don't mind. If it's another Aaron, it won't be all bad. I'm just curious as to what the fuck is going on. If we're being honest, of course. You guys appear to have known each other for a long time. Much longer than the minimal amount of time that I've been here for. However, you've talked about planets getting destroyed and other things I haven't been here to witness, so it's left me confused." Jude explained as the Oliserians spoke up, mainly the female one. "Honestly, we just came here to talk to Aaron Stone once he woke up, but that won't be happening any time soon. You've gotten us, or at least me, interested in what's going on. I heard that Aaron was setting up a competition for the chance to win strong skills, so we want to enter that as well." The female Oliserian answered, as it finally hit Soul that he had been asleep for some time.
"Sciat, how long was Aaron asleep for?" Soul asked out of fearful curiosity. "Oh, he was asleep for the past three days. He never made a noise, despite the many injuries he sustained during that time." Sciat responded as Soul wondered what had happened. "Would you mind telling me some of the injuries that were inflicted upon him?" Soul asked, causing Crystet to sigh. "As we were walking back to the city, Aaron's chest exploded, leaving a large hole in the centre of it. He didn't move or make any noise, but his blood flew everywhere. That room you woke up in had been covered in massive amounts of blood not twelve hours ago." Crystet explained as Soul realised what had happened. The injuries that Aaron had sustained and healed had happened to his physical body down here, on the physical plane.
"Here. Let me explain why Aaron suffered those injuries. I am the one to blame for that. I hit Aaron in the chest hard while he fought that black skeleton. The one that I created. Aaron had gotten rid of all of his defences to hit it as hard as he could, and I hit him at that moment. He died and then had to fight someone much more powerful than him to gain a second chance at life. I don't know what they were like, but they lost to him, and Aaron's now resting in my place inside of his own mind. The injuries after the first one were because of the fight for his life." Soul explained as Crystet stared at Soul with much more intensity. "So, you hit Aaron hard enough to put a hole through his chest, and then he almost died!? What kind of idiot are you?!" Crystet yelled at Soul, causing pink cracks to appear along his arm.
"Listen! I regretted my actions the second I took them! I felt remorse, which is something I've never felt before!" Soul yelled back, his hands becoming slightly more cracked. "I want to try to live a decent life. I'm sick of being caged up inside Aaron's head without a way to have fun or to live my existence! If I have to change how I act and treat people, that's fine! I just want to get out and about, have friendly spars with people and have a decent exploration of this world. After all, Aaron's been the only one of us three who's gotten to see what the planets have to offer, and we've just been the antagonists at every point. I'm sick of it, and I'm changing it right now." Soul explained before standing up, walking towards the door of the house.
"If you need me, I'll either be in the kingdom or recruiting more people to our city." Soul finished, opening the door and walking outside, closing it behind him. Sciat looked over towards Crystet with a slightly agitated expression on his face. "Great job, Crystet. You've angered him. He's been through the same experiences, and worse ones, than you. He's had to deal with Aaron and the past that he was the cause of. You were sorry about your own mistakes, and so was he, but you can't just forgive him, can you?" Sciat groaned to Crystet. "Now we have to wait for him to calm down so that we can talk to him. If you aren't ready for the responsibility of doing that, don't come with me. It just shows that you're still a child on the inside."
Sciat walked outside, trying to see where Soul had gone, but he was nowhere to be seen. Jude and the Oliserians looked towards Crystet with a look of disappointment. Jude didn't mind Soul, as he appeared to be regretful of his actions. The Oliserians were simply confused, but they knew that Crystet was angry at Soul for some reason. Crystet didn't even look towards them. He just kept looking forward, not a single regretful thought going through his mind.
