Chapter 244 - Trapped

The entire arena turned monochrome as the skill increased its range so that it wouldn't miss Yvelta. Yvelta watched as his vision turned black and white, scaring him. He wasn't used to this, but the next thing he felt was Aaron's sword, Tsuyukagiri, poking through his chest, blood dripping from it as a thousand cuts littered his body. He fell to the floor, bleeding out, his body unable to heal itself.

However, just as quickly as the damage appeared, it vanished, leaving him standing up and confused. Aaron used this as his chance to rush forward, unsheathing Tsuyukagiri as he ran, a smile lining his face. He activated the sword skill 'Tsuyukagiri: Ten Thousand Telekinetic Strikes' as his sword glowed with the same ominous purple as always. Aaron swung his sword at Yvelta, but just before the blade hit the child, Aaron teleported behind Yvelta, intending to hit him from the side. Behind him.

However, Aaron's face was grabbed by the child, the child's arm growing to the size of a tree trunk. His hand was the size of an above-average sized tree stump, grabbing Aaron's skull and crushing it as much as he could. The sound of bone snapping rang out in the air as Aaron let out a scream of pain. "Your tricks won't work on me, skeleton. I may be a child, but that doesn't mean my mind hasn't advanced. I've been alive for longer than you, and that's why I can do stuff like this." Yvelta threatened Aaron, sending his black bones flying across the room. Aaron tried to teleport out of the kid's grasp, but something stopped him. He hadn't been able to teleport away from any of the attacks in this fight, so he only had one chance. His current hope was Telekinetic Psychobreak, also known as his one-hit-kill attack.

{Telekinetic Psychobreak cannot be used here.}

{Reason: Opponent [User: Yvelta Nightlore] is more powerful than you.}

"Heh...I guess that's all I had up my sleeves." Aaron sighed, defeated. Yvelta looked at the skeleton with eyes of disappointment. "Wow. Are you really that pathetic? Giving up before dying? How pitiful must you be?" He mocked Aaron, causing Aaron to laugh slightly, as his laugh got louder every second before going into a fully-fledged maniacal cackle. "Oh, I'll act as pitiful as I have to, Yvelta. After all, I've won this battle before it even started." Aaron responded as Tsuyukagiri tapped against Yvelta's skin, leaving a small cut. "Shit!" Yvelta yelled, dropping Aaron as he tried to heal the slit, but it was too late.

Aaron smirked as he teleported away, trying to heal his cracked skull as Yvelta worried about what was happening. He shoved his finger inside of the cut, trying to see how far it went in. This activated the ability, and even though the strike didn't extend across his body, that didn't matter. Thousands of slices shot into the skin of Yvelta, sending fragments of bones into the air as blood scattered the arena. Aaron smirked, watched as ten thousand strikes littered the body of Yvelta Nightlore. Aaron watched as the child fell to the ground, causing him to let out a small laugh. He hadn't expected the fight to end like this, but here he was, winning against someone with eighty percent in Boundlessness. Aaron turned around, using whatever time left to heal himself. However, the second he took his eyes off of Yvelta, Aaron's spine snapped as the sound of heavy breathing entered his ear.

Aaron turned his head, looking at Yvelta standing behind him, grasping his spine. Aaron, thinking irrationally, used Boundless Corruption to create a spike of Corruption to stab through Yvelta's chest. To his surprise, it worked, leaving both of them injuring the other. Aaron's spine was in the grasp of Yvelta while Aaron stabbed Yvelta through the chest.

"So, you want to play this game, skeleton?" Yvelta asked, coughing up small amounts of blood. "Oh, I do. I will win this and return to my friends. I told one that I would die alongside them, and I plan to keep my promise." Aaron responded, removing the spike of Corruption from Yvelta's chest and following it up with a devastating backwards kick. Yvelta was sent backwards, quickly landing on the floor and sprung towards Aaron. However, Aaron was prepared. He used one of the skills he had gained from the Basilisk. Black Hole Creation. Aaron extended his hand, and just as Yvelta tried to attack him, a black hole that was one metre in diameter appeared in his palm. Aaron jumped away faster than light, ensuring that he wasn't devoured by the black hole, but Yvelta wasn't fast enough. He didn't expect Aaron to create such an attack, and as he tried to get away, he realised that he could no longer teleport. Well, he could never really teleport in the first place.

Yvelta's version of teleporting consisted of him running at speeds equal to light itself. However, not even light can escape the pull of a black hole. Aaron just went faster. Aaron watched as, no matter how quickly Yvelta ran, he couldn't escape the grasp of the void. "So, are you stuck, kid? If you admit that you lose and call me the winner, I'll remove this black hole from existence. It's either losing or dying for you, Yvelta. I forgot I had this little trump card up my sleeve." Aaron told the kid, who stared deep into his eyes as he snarled. He wasn't happy about this at all. Someone with such a low Boundless Percentage had backed him into a theoretical corner. With a sigh, he announced his response.

"I concede, forfeit, or whatever term you want to use. I lose. Now get me the fuck out of this situation!" He yelled as Aaron snapped his fingers, his human form re-appearing. He had won an unwinnable battle. "Thank you," Aaron replied as the black hole vanished, letting the child go free. "Now, I can return to my original life." Aaron explained as his body disappeared. "So, that's the one who was recognised by AuthRecSys? Who the hell is AuthRecSys?" Yvelta asked himself.

{Unwinnable Match: Completed}

{Rewards: Increase to 30% Boundlessness, Soul Fortification.}
