Chapter 221 - The Werewolven Forest

Aaron's foot hit the dirt of the forest as the large group of people teleported to unknown woods on this planet. Aaron looked around, having no idea where they were. All that he could tell was that they were surrounded by the trees on all sides. Sciat, Free, and the now-separated Seph and None looked around in confusion.

Essentially, Seph was like his usual self, just with his altered skin and strength. None was a clone of Seph, but with his signature blue flesh. They were almost identical twins, but imagine one had a unique skin disease. None also had wings, but he hadn't properly used them yet.

Aaron tapped his finger against his head, trying to figure out where in the world they were, but Crystet stood up, putting his hand on Aaron's shoulder. "Don't bother trying to figure out where you are. Come on. Let's go find the Werewolves that you were talking about." Crystet told him, causing Aaron to stop thinking about it. He turned to face Crystet. "Thanks, Crystet. At least I know that you're somewhat calm in this situation. After all, in most horror movies from our worlds, you'd always be trapped in a set of woods. Then, out of nowhere, a serial killer would appear, or a monster, and then you were dead." Aaron explained, and a look of fear spread across Crystet's face.

"Calm down! You'll be fine. It's not like some strange monster is going to attack us. Plus, even if they did, you know they couldn't hurt me, right?" Aaron explained, pretty much jinxing the entire journey. Or had he?

Everyone began to scan the area, looking for any signs of life. "I've never actually seen a Werewolven village," Seph admitted, as Aaron looked at him in surprise. "The only reason I know that they exist is that I met one here. This is the exact location I saw it, and even then, it was just for a minute. They told me they were a Werewolf and told me to get out of there. I left the area, hearing the sounds of metal clashing against metal as I made my exit. The Werewolf that I had seen that day might have been an outcast being hunted. Now that I remember him, I hope that wasn't the case. I wish for his safety and prosperity." Seph explained, his eyes closed as he tried to imagine what the Werewolf looked like.

"It was a man, with a scar lining his face, going from just underneath his left eye vertically down. It was probably a scarring wound from earlier on in his life." Seph described, None turning around to look at him. "Where the hell are you getting these memories? I didn't see them at all when I went peering through your head." None nonchalantly asked as Seph stared at him in fear. "You went looking in there?!" He exclaimed, an embarrassed look lining his face. "Oh, I did, and I found some golden moments from your life. When you were a cringey Hero, nonetheless, Cocky, arrogant, headstrong. It got you through some tough times. I'll give you that much, but...I just can't take the past version of you seriously!" None burst out laughing, as Aaron immediately became intrigued. "None, show me those god damn memories. I need to see this for myself!" Aaron exclaimed, lightening the mood in the area.

The air had been tense up until now. The feeling of being in a mysterious place had been getting to them all, especially Jude and Free. They were, in all honesty, just regular humans who had gotten lucky with their fate. Aaron teleported towards Seph, who dove forward, evading Aaron's attempts to view his mind, diving in a different direction every time he saw Aaron move a limb. Aaron wasn't seriously trying to catch him, as he thought of it as just a fun little game, but that's when Aaron noticed a somewhat weak aura running through the woods. It appeared to not be a human aura, although. With all of the monster auras in the area around him, he couldn't really be sure. Aaron stopped moving, placed his finger on his head and began channelling his Godly Energy.

{Godly Energy Prepared}

Aaron ignored this notification from the autonomous part of his system. He was wondering why Memica hadn't talked for a bit, but he decided to leave the matter alone for a little longer. After all, she did earlier say that she was taking a backseat in Aaron's mind, watching how things went without her help. Aaron shot out the pulse of Godly Energy, revealing to him that it was a monster, but it had a low reserve of mana, and it was slowly draining. However, he noticed that three higher mana sources were following behind it. "Seph, you know how you were talking about a possible outcast Werewolf? Well, I might have found someone who is somewhat comparable." Aaron explained as he found their location. "127 metres away, to my north, they are currently running towards us, reaching speeds of seven metres per second. Want to help them?" Aaron asked, and without a word, Seph ran off towards Aaron's north.

"How brave of him. Well then, I believe we should assist him, no?" Aaron pointed out, grabbing everyone's proper attention. Crystet picked up free onto his back, as he was like Free and Clair's personal transport vehicle. They all rushed off, catching up with Seph in around five seconds. This was because Aaron teleported to him while everyone else ran. Except for Crystet. He used Supreme TimeStop. "So, in about ten seconds, you'll encounter this Werewolf. Ready?" Aaron informed Seph. "Yes," Seph responded, his hand near his waist where HIS sword lay. After all, the katana that None had conveniently robbed from the white-haired swordsman somehow just stuck to None's waist without any need for a strap or sheathe.

They reached another opening in the woods, and Seph ran straight into the downward slashing blade of a Werewolf with intent to kill.
