Chapter 158 - Intelligence

The god booming his voice around the room teleported behind Aaron, a red aura around his fist. Aaron smiled while turning around. He knew what to do to stop any and all further aggression. Aaron let the punch hit him in the face, and the god smiled. This would kill Aaron. After all, it was an attack that damaged a person's soul, and with him being so weak, his aura almost invisible, he'd die immediately. The bluff of power was something anyone could do, but he truly believed that Aaron was lying. The punch landed, and the god's fist didn't move. "Huh...?" The god asked, confused. Aaron just grabbed his hand, a creepy smile on his face. "I told you that I was holding back. I was limiting my power to near zero, yet even with my current strength, you wouldn't pose a threat to me." Aaron commented as he flung the god over his shoulder, slamming him into the ground. Aaron just smiled as he did it, prepared to go even further.

"Does anyone else have a problem with me that they'd like to discuss?" Aaron asked as his hands were coated in a strange pink light. One god appeared in front of Aaron, a literal gun in his hand. "Oh, what do we have here? A cowboy, huh? Well then, little gunslinger, you're vastly outmatched." Aaron taunted him, creating a black portal over the god's head. The portal faced downwards, and when the god looked up, his semi-material eyes widened. He stared down the barrel of an AK-47, and he slowly tried to back away, but the rifle shot a bullet behind him. "I wouldn't want to get hit by that. They're filled with the ammunition I've specifically created to fight semi-material beings. I just made it right now, so it's freshly ready to kill.

"Aaron, you really go overboard, don't you?" Shadow sighed as Aaron smiled back at the soul. "Of course. I go overboard completely on accident as they can't put up a good fight. After all, they are just insanely weak." Aaron responded, further enraging the gods of the council. They couldn't strip someone's godhood from them, so all they could do was provide empty threats. Aaron knew that they couldn't do anything against him, so he continued to toy with them.

"You know, I have an idea. All you can attack me at once, and if you can make me move, I'll give you all the privilege of one wish. One wish for anything. Power, wealth, fame, you name it. It could be yours. Just get me to move my feet. I won't increase my power level, and you get to use your most powerful attack. Seems like a fair competition. If you can make me move, you get one wish." Aaron further taunted, lighting up the eyes of the council. 'So, they are filled with greed. All they think about is themselves, and this means I can take advantage of them.' Aaron thought to himself, Memica not getting in the way. She was curious about what would happen to the gods.

The same god holding the gun appeared behind him, getting away from the large floating assault rifle. He fired a shot into the back of Aaron's head, but the bullet just dropped to the ground behind Aaron. "Did you shoot a bullet, or was that an empty magazine?" Aaron mocked the gunslinger as the ground beneath the god cracked, revealing an abyss below them. "I don't think you want to fall into my artificial abyss, gunslinger. After all, it goes on infinitely." Aaron stated as the god held onto the edges of the chasm with his hands. He had almost fallen into it, and Aaron had no idea whether he had or hadn't entered it.

The other gods looked on in fear as their confidence drained out of them. It was almost as if Aaron had shoved a pipe into their backs and sucked it out manually. Do not take that out of context because I know that's what you were thinking. You dirty animals ;)

Aaron just smiled at the visual response he got from the gods, and he relished it. He disliked cockiness, and that was because he was cocky himself. He should need to be the only cocky person in the room. That way, nobody else had to. Aaron moved his body, turning around to see the god hanging onto the edge of his chasm. "So, you gods can't teleport when you're outside of your domain, huh? Must be sad, needing a place to use your teleport in." Aaron commented, clicking his fingers as he did. All of this was for dramatic effect, and he teleported the god out of the chasm.

"So, none of you want the free wish? That's fine by me. At least you know when you're outclassed." Aaron congratulated them, the council gods too afraid to give a reply. These were the smart ones. They were weaker than the other two, so they had learned to know when they were outclassed. "It shows you have intelligence. I have a special deal for you. I'll create a weak enough opponent for you all, and if you can defeat it, you each get your own wish. Does that sound fair?" Aaron asked, causing the other gods to smile happily, nodding their heads up and down. Aaron smiled as a black orb fell from a similarly coloured portal. "Come out! Monster!" Aaron yelled, causing Crystet to open his eyes in absolute fear.

The area around them fell away, and all Aaron could do was smile as the orb began to change shape and colour. After around ten seconds of grotesque noises and bloody changes, the Monster that ravaged the planet which Crystet tried to take over had re-appeared once again. This time, however, it was not Crystet. It was made out of Aaron's own mana, meaning it had an infinite supply of energy.

"Come! Fight the Monster that got me to end my own life! Kill it!" Aaron yelled out, his voice booming out to everyone there. A Monster which Aaron fought and technically lost to, as he died first.
