Crystet lay dead on the ground, his body scattered upon the black floor, the cyan pieces contrasting with the pink theme of the castle. Aaron turned around, clapping his hands together in glee. He didn't think that he'd be able to get Crystet out of the picture so quickly, but here he was.
"Well, look at what just happened! A child has just died, and Ray seems to be a little sad about that! What is it like, losing someone you could call a friend?" Aaron asked Ray, taunting him for his emotional attachment to Crystet as a friend. He was hypocritical at this moment, as he got angry at Sciat dying, but he was too caught up in the moment to bother about correctness.
Ray looked up at Aaron with tears in his eyes, from both his sadness at Crystet's death, but also the tears accumulated from trying to hold back the pain coming from his torn foot. He looked towards Crystet's body was and realised it was gone. Ray looked back towards Aaron and realised that Aaron didn't know about Crystet's ability. The one he used while fighting against Sciat!
Preservation!
A black figure stood behind Aaron, a sharp blade of ice in its hand. It was around 90 centimetres long, and it was a katana. The figure lifted its hand into the air and swung down, splitting Aaron in half, starting at his right shoulder. Aaron felt the blade moving through his body, and although he couldn't feel any pain, the look of shock on his face was something to see.
Aaron felt the right half of his body slide away from him as one half of his vision fell to the floor, leaving only the left side of his torso and his legs. He couldn't believe it. Crystet was alive! "Impossible! It shouldn't be possible to come back to life after death, except for a god! You aren't a god, so how?!" Aaron yelled out, wondering what the hell was going on. The black figure jumped back, revealing itself to be equipped with Samurai armour, resembling that of old Japanese samurai back on Earth.
"Well, it appears that I've temporarily taken over the body of this individual, haven't I?" The black figure asked in the voice of Crystet, smiling as he held his sword up to his face. "My name is Yoshiki. That's all you need to know about me. The only other thing that you will need to know is that you shall die at the hands of me and my frozen blade, Toshinori."
"A spirit? Oh, I was worried for a second! I thought something much worse would happen, like Crystet coming back and gaining infinite power for a short amount of time. It isn't remotely as bad as that. Come on, show me what you've got!" Aaron yelled out in relief, as he genuinely thought something worse would happen. You never should underestimate a spirit if you plan to mock them.
Yoshiki appeared behind Aaron, swinging his blade downwards, trying to rip more flesh away from Aaron's body. Aaron didn't expect this at all and rushed forwards, losing his legs in the process. As he was falling to the ground, he felt an impact from the side. Ray had fired off a bolt of electricity, sending it into Aaron's ribcage. Aaron went tumbling to the side, now without half of his body and his legs. He was incapacitated.
"So, you thought you'd be able to win so easily? Well, I'm sorry to rain on your parade, but I refuse to be underestimated by someone like you!" Yoshiki yelled as he began charging up a special attack. "Ice Flash: Newly Discovered Ice Blade!"
Ice shards started to form around Yoshiki as he began to concentrate the energy in the air. It came to a point where the Ki became concentrated enough that they froze, forming ice shards. The ice shards began to spin around Toshinori, his katana, at high speeds, creating a hurricane of ice around it. Yoshiki rushed forwards while holding his sword above his head. He planned to shred Aaron to pieces by using the shards of ice. Aaron looked over towards the half of his body that was cut off and realised what he had to do.
It looked like he had been killed by Yoshiki, but he had teleported over to his legs as a way to stay alive. He placed them at the bottom of his torso, having just enough of it left to stick both legs on. Yoshiki turned around and saw Aaron sitting down on the ground. He rushed towards Aaron, trying to stop whatever was going on, as he didn't know what Aaron was doing, but Yoshiki knew that if he didn't stop Aaron things would get difficult.
Just before he reached Aaron, he saw two swords go past his face, impaling Aaron through the chest. The swords threw him against the wall, forcing spikes to go through his body. Some of the spikes forced the swords out, allowing the swords to go back to their thrower, Elise. She had flung the swords at her own child.
Aaron became stuck in the trap of his own creation, looking to the others like the King and Queen above the thrones. He couldn't do anything, as when he tried to pull himself off of the black spikes, Yoshiki shoved his ice katana right up towards Aaron's neck, forcing him to move back.
"Oh, well isn't this a sight for sore eyes? Me being strung up, almost like what I did to the other people! Almost seems ironic, don't you think?" Aaron asked, before fading away from the spikes, causing Yoshiki to turn around in fear.
Aaron stood in the centre of the throne room, as telekinetically-realised pink wings sprouted out from his back, almost like a statement of power.
"I did tell you I was a god, didn't I? You should have worshipped me when you had the chance."
