Chapter 87 - Punishment

Aaron felt a sudden shift in the atmosphere, as he went and looked at the drawbridge from a window in the throne room. He saw that Sciat was currently losing to the monster who he had detected. He was only able to see the back of it, however, from his viewpoint, as it was behind the drawbridge, and at an angle. "It isn't even human, eh? I didn't think monsters would be such powerhouses. I also didn't know they teamed up with humans." Aaron commented, surprised at the situation. He had no doubt that Sciat would win however, but then he noticed something worrying about the monster. He hadn't checked the new power level of it, and when he did, the number confused him.

[Power Level: Undetermined]

[Reason: Power Level Fluctuation due to Spiritual Inhabitant.]

"Wait what? It's currently possessed? This brings a whole new level of danger to this situation!" Aaron yelled out, as he contemplated what to do. He didn't know whether he should save Sciat, or let Sciat improve by winning on his own. He cared enough about Sciat to help him, but he didn't know if he should. Which decision would be better for the both of them?!

While Aaron stressed over this, the fight between Sciat and the spiritually-possessed Crystet was coming to a close. Aaron looked up, only to see blood pouring from Sciat's back, with his arm inside fo the monsters chest. Aaron didn't know what was going on, but he then saw the look of resignation on Sciats face, and knew what he was about to do. He prepared to teleport, but he then saw a white flame extend from the monsters chest, as it, along with Sciat, were coated in almost hell-like flames. Hell like flames, yet they were white.

Aaron sunk to his knees, his head towards the ground, as he felt Sciats power level fade out of existence. He then noticed ghag soemthigm was off. There were white hot flames, so why...

Why wasn't the monsters energy level gone aswell!?

Aaron looked up, only to see the monster standing upright, holding Sciats undamaged head like a trophy. He couldn't hear what it was saying, but even seeing this act happening was making him made. A black layer of corruption flew over his eyes, almost as if it was a shadow covering the eyes of an anime protagonist. He stood up, and began to vibrate. He hadn't vibrated before, not even when Light and Yua died, but that was simply because he wasn't able to. Safe to say, he was pissed.

It reminded him fo the Light and Yua incident. Not in any specific way, but in the way that you'd see a friend die. It was painful for the heart. He used his Boundless Telekinesis to teleport to the gate. The thing the drawbridge led to. The adventurers on the other side began shouting things like "Who is he?", "It's like Crystet!" or "Is it THAT monster!?". It was annoying.

"Shut up." Aaron ominously whispered, as he lifted up his hand, almost as if he was closing hsi fist in on the adventurers. He then began to slowly close his fist, watching as the adventurers slowly went from confused to scared, as they began to get forced closer and closer together. The sounds of bones breaking and the screams of the adventurers rang out through the air, as Crystet and the robed unidentified human watched on in horror. They witnessed the crushing of bones, the spraying of blood and the horrific ball of flesh that came out of it. Crystet turned around, only to see the creepy smile of Aaron right in front of his face.

Aaron grabbed Crystet and the Robed Human by their necks, as he began a little speech. "You REALLY shouldn't have done that, should you? You really though it would be a good idea to KILL the bodyguard? He said DEFEAT him, or even get PAST him, yet you go and take the killing route? Sounds like something I would do. For the heroes of this situation? Sounds almost cruel. Those adventurers over there got the easy way out, only being killed. You two are going to be forced into doing something much worse. It all starts...

"With a little click."

A snapping noise was heard by all three of them, as they appeared in the throne room. Aaron sat down on the throne, as he let go of Crystet and the Robed Human, keeping them in place using his Boundless Gravitational Manipulation. His eyes became unshadowed, showing his pink eyes in all of their hideous glory.

"First things first. We need to get that spirit out of you, monster. Let's see what happens if I do this." Aaron contemplated, as he activated his Boundless Telekinesis, and became focused on dragging any unnatural spirits out of the monsters body. He wasn't able to check its name, but he could remove it of its power. In his vision, a small green hand appeared, as it went flying over to Crystet, who was still possessed by the spirit. The spirit was pulled out of his body in an almost cartoonist way. He saw the spirit try to hold onto the monsters body, yet after about ten seconds, it let go, as dissipated into the air.

Crystet regained control of his body, and the first things out of his mouth were "Where am I?". He was rightfully confused, but when he saw the monster in front of him, he knew he was in deep shit. "Tell me, monster, what is your name?" Aaron asked, his smile growing wide. He was hoping it was either Crystet or Ray, but he wasn't sure.

"It appears I have no other choice. Crystet Artemi. Formerly part of the Artemi family but I am now an orphan, thanks to you." Crystet spitefully replied. He was faced with the person he wanted to kill the most, yet he wasn't able to move. Like he was under way too much gravity.

"Oh yeah. I know the perfect punishment for you, Crystet. Thanks for telling me you are now an orphan. It gave me such a good idea." Aaron replied, almost as if he was sending out death threats. They weren't to him, but for someone else.

A group of people appeared infront of Crystet, and his eyes started to leak cyan liquid. Almost like tears.

"Kill your own family, Crystet."
