Crystet rushed forward, letting the spikes of ice he had created fly towards Sciat, who lifted up his hand, almost as if he was bored. As the icicles flung towards him, he began to move his hand from side to side, and just as they were about to hit him, he had caught them in between his fingers, almost as if they were harmless playing cards. Crystet scowled, and made the icicles melt away. He didn't want this formally monster to throw his own attack back at him. The icicles melted in Sciats hand, which surprised him, as he thought that they would just disappear into thin air. He was curious as to how it was done, but he would save that for once they were defeated. He was just playing with them for now.
Sciat saw that the group behind the person who strangely looked like Aaron was starting to advance. Like they thought they could get it. "Oh, how amusing. Your little friends really thought they could get past me? Let's give ourselves a little privacy, shall we?" Sciat mockingly announced, as he activated one of his abilities, simply titled 'Flame Burst'. The grass on both sides of the drawbridge were set alight, leaving only Crystet and Sciat inside. It was time for the battle to truly begin.
Sciat rushed behind Crystet, attempting to land a swift kick to the back of the head, but as he swung his leg, it was blocked by Crystet's open palm. Sciat tried to pull his leg back, but Crystet closed his fist, grabbing onto Sciats leg, causing Sciat to slightly panic, and he was slammed face first into the drawbridge. The drawbridge slightly cracked, but it stayed in place, and it could still be fought on. Sciat felt himself being lifted up into the air again, so he activated Flame Burst again, but this time targeting Crystet's face. Crystet's head was set alight, causing him to scream out in agony, as he felt the pain of this.
The only reason HE felt pain and Aaron DIDN'T was because of the difference between a Boundless version of something and a non-boundless version of the same thing. With the Boundless version, you can alter certain things, such as your appearance, or certain abilities. That's what the system did with Aaron, causing him to have his unique face, and his unique colouring. There was no emotion that linked to pink, but the system just chose it like that because it thought it worked well with the black.
Sciat was dropped, as Crystet got rid of the flames by covering his face in ice. The flames were quenched by this, but Crystet then watched the ice break into pieces. He felt an impact against his jaw, as his skin tarted to turn red hot. Scist had lunched through Crystet's little ice barrier by coating his fist in flames. This obviously hurt him, but he was too drugged up on adrenaline to care. Now that he had been hurt, he was gonna let himself go wild. Crystet was currently doing the same, but his motivation wasn't just 'not holding back'. He was hurt, and knew that many others would be if he didn't do this. He felt that HE needed to do this. His bravery was showing, in correspondence to his corruption colour.
Crystet spat what appeared to be cyan coloured blood out from his mouth, and rushed towards Sciat, who was expecting this, and also rushed forward, but just as they were about to collide, Sciat moved to the side, just enough to extend his leg outward, causing Crystet to fall over. Scaut used this as his chance to deal a good blow, and in the moments that Crystet was falling, Sciat coated his hand in white flames, and shoved his fist into the back of Crystet, who began to scream as his corrupted flesh was melted by this white-hot flame. Sciat then pulled his hand out, as the flame lingered inside Crystets body, causing the flesh inside his body to be seared even more. Sciat then jumped back, as he clicked his fingers. This is when his second ability, 'Combustion' activated. The white hot flame inside of Crystet expanded violently and quickly, creating an explosion of sorts. Crystet expanded, and then popped, also tliek a balloon, but with a lot more black, gloopy flesh than air. The adventurers behind the flames only heard screams and an explosion, so they couldn't be sure who was dead, but if it was Crystet, they were in serious trouble. The flames cleared, and they saw the smiling face of Sciat standing there on top of the splattereed body of Crystet. The only thing that was left remaining were his legs and his head. Everything else was across the drawbridge and in the moat.
Everyone looked at the body in shock, Crystet's eyes now a dull blue instead of the original cyan shade. All life was gone from his body, as he died a sad death, with nobody to truly comfort him.
Or was he dead?
Of course he was. He was exploded by a white hot ball of combustible flames.
"You know, I really thought you wouldn't be much of a threat, but apparently, I understimated you," A voice rang out behind Sciat, which caused him to turn around in disbelief. "Although, I do have to tell you, you did underestimate me aswell. It's time to show you what truly happens when you fight me."
Crystet was standing right infront of Sciat, vibrating on the spot. "H-h-how?! I killed you! Your body is over...there...?" Sciat yelled as he pointed over towards the body of Crystet, only to find it gone. He looked back at Crystet with his eyes wide open, as Crystet looked at Sciat with a smile that would unnerved even the most steelhearted of foes. This however, was only a fake face.
"A little ability that I had gotten when I gained this form. Preservation." Crystet vaguely explained. Here's the full explanation.
[Preservation]
[Passive Skill]
[Preservation grants the user the ability to reset their body to a previous state, and to place their body within a ten meter radius area of where they died.]
[Cooldown: Until Midnight.]
"It's time to show you what I'm truly capable of. I guess you could call this...phase two." Crystet mysteriously announced, as he dropped hsi head back down, causing Sciat to first look at him in disbelief, but then with glee, as he was now allowed to properly fight Crystet. It wasn't going to be over in a second.
"Amazing! Now I can fight you again! Let's see how well you fare against me WITH your little friends helping you!"
