Ray and Crystet were talking to one of the teachers about what had happened to Aaron, and the teacher simply told them that everything was going to be fine. This was when, as per thhe plot, thhe ground started to violently shake.
"Woah...I'm getting a bad feeling from this." Ray pointed out, stating the obvious. "You think?!" Crystet responded, shocked at the sudden occurance of the earthquake. Usually they are informed a few days beforehand so they can prepare, yet they weren't told about this one at all. What was going on?!
The ground beneath the school started to burst open, as cracks appeared in the linoleum, and split, revealing a deep chasm, with rising magma. Crystet and Ray began running away, but this lava burst was unlike the others, in that it was actually fast, going at 25 kilometers per hour (6.9444444...meters a second [nice]), or five times faster than the others. It might not seem like it's that fast, but then remember you'd have to run at that speed.
Ray and Crystet were about five meters away when they saw the chasm and it's contents, so they had a little headstart, but that wasn't the same for other students. A large groups of students had the ground slip out from under them, and they fell into the abyss below, to be burned by the upcoming magma.
The crack started to get larger and larger, causing more students and teachers to fall in, as the magma rose even further, finally breaking the crack's edge. Once the magma hit the surface, it became lava, and now, the lava was eating away at the bodies of the unlucky people who didn't fall in, and had to suffer the pain of having their flesh rendered from their bodies by the lava.
Crystet and Ray ran out of the school, and sprinted towards the gate. They reached it, and saw the lava coming towards them, so the began trying to climb the gate, and Crystet was able to do it almost perfectly, but Ray was unable to climb up. His hands kept slipping down it due to the glistening sweat that covered his hands due to the stress. The lava was still approaching, so, while Crystet was almost over, he lifted his hand out for Ray to grab onto. Ray gratefully grabbed onto it, and Crystet used some momentum by swinging forward to help Ray just barely clear the gate. They continued sprinting, and, until now, they hadn't noticed the gigantic red monster standing in the centre of the city. They looked upwards, and saw this monster, and began to do what's called a suicide move. They went running towards the giant monster. People yelled for them to turn back, but they didn't listen. They had to see if this was caused by Aaron and his strange Ki Type.
They heard the monster yelling out, but they couldn't truly understand what it was saying. Heat of the moment selective hearing? Probably. They just saw the monster, and ran towards it, but, a few moments later, they saw it laughing. It appeared to be laughing AT something. They couldn't hear what it was laughing at, but then, something appeared on the large television screens that were set up around the city. It appeared to be an image of a monster made of darkness, with pink eyes and a pink-tooth smile.
"Oh, I do, and just to prove that I can, say goodbye to this world. You won't revive from this one. After all, it was your own mind that revived you this time. Your mind is now gone." The black monster spoke, as the apparent male snapped his fingers. The red monster suddenly became limp, and began to fall back into the abyss. The people who saw this were confused as all hell, but they began to clap. Although, it appeared that the monster wasn't done yet.
"You won't like what happens next. Better hope that your luck is with the gods!" The monster yelled out, as he snapped his fingers once again. Propel suddenly began to scream, but were cut off, as they died. However, a lot were left alive, so they continued to scream. Ray and Crystet looked around them, and just saw hundreds of limp bodies. "Did he just....randomize who got killed?!" Crystet screamed out in disbelief. He then remembered something important. His family. He and Ray began to run home, before Aaron's true voice was heard on the television. His voice was childish before, but he had finally gained the ability to properly speak, so now his voice sounded decently deep. Think of it like Menacingly Irish Dio Brando.
"Crystet Artemi. Ray Cast. Come stop me...if you can."
'What does he mean...wait a second...he knows BOTH of our names?! Who is he?!' Ray screamed internally. He was too overwhelmed by fear for his family. Both of them began to rush home, trying to figure out what the hell was going on right now. So many thoughts were running through their minds, yet they couldn't sort it all out. It was like a storm had come to crash the party, but they needed to check on their families. They wouldn't be able to do anything else for themselves until then.
They rushed back to their houses, each of them opening their respective house doors at the same time, and were greeted by the same horrific sight. Their parents, Siblings, and even relatives, dead in limp positions all over the house. It shook them to their core, and they both burst out crying. They both believed that they were just victims of cruel fate, but, for some reason, they just couldn't accept it. What were the odds of them ALL dying?!
If we counted ALL of their seperate family members, the odds of this happening are probably more that 1 in 2,097,152, but, of course, Aaron did this on purpose, settings little thing he called a condition. Everyone who has the surname Artemi or Cast will have a 100% to die, except if they are Crystet Artemi or Ray Cast.
It was his little way of making sure everything went perfectly.
"You...you DIRTY FAMILY KILLER!" Crystet screamed into the lifeless air, as he began to mourn the loss of every family member he had.
