After they finished eating Tati decided to take a nap while Justin agreed to take first watch. While Tati slept she began having a weird dream. Tati was in the middle of the woods when she heard the sound of laughter. "That's strange, that's the same laughter I heard earlier", she began to look around but could only see trees around her.
" Tati .. Tati .. Tati .." a faint voice lowly chanted, Tati was trying to find the source of the sound when she noticed something moving out of the corner of her right eye, she turned her head and seen something running among the trees. Tati began running but seemed to be going in circles .. "You can't run, you can't hide" said the voice.
"What do you want from me?" cried Tati frantically.
"You need to remember" continued the voice.
"Remember what? Where am I? How do I get home?"
"You are home, you need to remember"
"I am home?" Tati thought inwardly, I mean yeah I'm still in the same woods and I know that area but things are different, it's not exactly the same.
Tati was deep in thought when she heard the laughter again but this time closer, she looked towards the sound and saw a figure running deeper into the woods.
"I can follow it and maybe find answers or maybe I shouldn't .. it could be a trap for all I know" she thought, "in every movie you never follow the monster or the killer but I also need answers". Tati began chasing the figure deeper into the woods, the trees here were taller and the path around her began disappearing. Tati tried to find a way out but it just got darker and darker, she stopped in her tracks and soon regretted following the figure. "Today has just been a weird day and I'm over it, I just want to go home .. I even miss my dad .. some birthday.." she thought. Tati had forgotten today was her birthday after everything that has been going on and began to get sad, she even started to think about and miss her mom more than anything.
"Mom I wish you were here, you know how to make everything better" she thought.
"I'm always here, be careful and remember what I taught you" said a familiar voice.
"Mom?" said Tati aloud, but it can't be she thought.
Was that really her?
