Chapter 6 - 6. She Lie

Adeeva widened her eyes when she saw two wolves appearing in front of her. Indeed, the timing was perfect. As heavy rain and lightning struck, she encountered two wolves and a shadow ghost. In front of her, stood Bastian and Zion who were already gaping wide until they were drooling.

When Adeeva reached for Yudistira hand, the man took her to Bastian's house which he said could calm the mind. Instead of calming him down, she became even more uneasy when she saw Bastian and Zion there. After all, she still had self-respect.

"Okay, walk me home." take Adeeva.

"It's raining hard outside. Aren't you afraid of being struck by lightning?" asked Yudistira.

"I'm not afraid of lightning and such," Adeeva answered confidently.

Yudistira invited him to the exit. And when Adeeva set foot one step from the exit, the lightning shouted each other making the girl jump to hug Yudistira.

"Wow, that sexual harassment," Bastian said.

"Yudis is not a virgin anymore, huhu...." Zion said.

Yudistira glanced at the two with a sharp gaze. It was easy to say that Yudistira was not a virgin. However, he is still a virgin.

Adeeva felt a little embarrassed because she accidentally hugged Yudistira. As quickly as possible, the girl broke free and could only look down at this moment. She felt like he wanted to drown herself right now.

"If you're afraid of lightning, just admit it, you don't have to be brave," said Yudistira.

"Who's afraid? I'm just surprised." Adeeva replied with a slightly arrogant tone.

"Besides, it's raining hard, are you sure you want to go home? Tomorrow's the exam, you'll get sick." Bastian said.

Zion cleared his throat loudly, "What a concern..."

Bastian nudged him so hard that Zion fell on the floor. Yudistira and Bastian just laughed at that.

"You don't have a car like that?" asked Adeeva.

The three nodded at the same time. They never once brought a car to this place. Because the roads are quite challenging, they prefer to use motorbikes while racing. Usually, there is a separate bet between them.

Adeeva sighed, she had given up. Her large black bag was very heavy to carry. Her body is also quite tired today. Although not working at Sunflow but she also works as a makeup artist.

Her expertise in make-up makes the girl live to this day. Even though the results are not much, she is happy. Seeing her clients become beautiful and helping them cover their sadness, made the girl happy.

"Just watch out if you do anything wrong." Adeeva threatened.

Her stomach suddenly rumbled until it was heard by the trio of tigers, Adeeva who felt embarrassed finally covered her stomach while leaving the three of them in the living room.

Adeeva sat in the chair in front of the TV, changing TV channels as she pleased. He wished there was a Korean drama there.

"Okay, make yourself at home, ma'am." Bastian snapped.

Adeeva smiled slightly as she replied, "Where's the certificate?"

The three of them didn't understand.

"He said his own house, so I want to sell it. Why?" he said.

"Damn it, she has no morals," said Yudistira.

The man ruffled Adeeva's hair in exasperation and sat next to her and enjoyed the TV broadcast together.

"You don't have to be close! Watch out for all kinds of things." threatened Adeeva again.

"I have no lust for the flat like you." Yudistira's curt made Adeeva glared in disbelief.

"Wow, damn Yudistira has a partner who lacks morals now." chirped Zion as he walked towards the dining table.

After enjoying dinner cooked by Dinar, they including Dinar chatted casually in the family room. Because there is Dinar, Adeeva is a little relieved.

"Adeeva has parents permission?" asked Dinar, Bastian's housekeeper.

Adeeva was silent and lowered her head. Sh didn't know what to answer.

"It's okay, earlier... Adeeva often stays at a friend's house so papa will allow it." Adeeva was forced to lie to cover her father's disgrace. After all, her father became her first love as a child.

"Lie," Yudistira muttered almost inaudibly.

"Don't you know that I'm happy?" asked Adeeva, looking up at the night star. Currently, he is in the backyard of Bastian's house. The yard is neat and there are lots of beautiful flowers, Adeeva's favorite.

"Miaw..." replied his interlocutor.

The black and white cat is Bastian's pet. Not Persian or Angora. It's just a stray cat who accidentally became a victim of Bastian's parent's quarrel. At that time, his mother slammed a glass into the cat. Instead of running away, the cat hid behind his feet. Bastian could not bear to finally take the cat to his private home.

"I'm happy because I have stars now," Adeeva said. This time, his gaze was not envious of the star that accompanied the moon. However, on the moon who is always accompanied by the stars. This must be the moon.

The cat meowed again, "Miaw..."

"Cia... You must be happy because there are people who always take care of you," she said with a sweet smile.

"Miaw..."

Adeeva suddenly burst into tears. For some reason, the words he just said hurt her. Reminded her of herself. To the figure of Adeeva who is no longer wanted by her parents.

Since her sister's death, Adeeva has lived independently without anyone to take care of her. The girl eats using her own money, and school is also from her hard work.

"It must be nice to be appreciated and considered valuable by others," she mumbled with tears flowing.

"Hehe, but it's okay I can do it, right? I must be strong right? It's okay Deva, this is all nothing compared to losing my brother! Cheer up!" She said with a cheerful smile.

In a second, the mask was back on. The happy mask that not many people know is again attached to her face. The tears that had flowed down suddenly receded forcibly, and again the girl smiled as if nothing had happened.
