" Inspector Maverick , Inspector Maverick....." sound was coming from the wireless . After a minute , he picked up the call . His chief ordered him to come immediately at the headquarters as the case they thought was small was getting big . He arrived at the headquarter immediately as he was the investigation officer of that case .
Chevron moustache , black glasses , tall , handsome and a polite personality ,Officer Mavericks was one of the most adoring Officers of the headquarters . He rushed toward the cabin of the chief and opened the door . " Good morning chief "
Quinn Dankworth ( Chief ) ordered him -" Follow me . "
They both went in the Conference room where hundred of superior Officers were waiting to discussed about the strange suicide cases occuring in their country within a year . All the Officers and Detectives of their country failed to investigate that case so they finally decided to unite together to solve this mystery .
Maverick seated on the chair , and Mr. Quinn ( chief ) started to explaining the whole case . " One year ago , in Chicago , a 20 years old guy named James , who was a topper in his class . Before the suicide , he had submitted forms to many competitive exams because he thought it would be great for his future . One day when he came back from the college , his mother was not at home as she was running a cafe on the town side and his residence was out of the town . He was alone in the home and reading books . He was learning for the upcoming exam of his class . He completed his learning and called his bestie as he was getting bored . On the call , he was normal and casual as always . For half and hour they both were talking ( From 6: 00 pm to 6:30 pm ) . Due to the overloading of the work , his mom didn't get the chance to called her son and informed him that she might be get late or she will come home next day . In the morning , when she came to her apartment , she saw a crowd . She went near and asked one of the man , he informed -" Your son has committed suicide . " She didn't believe it and called police . Before police arrived at the spot , James mother was shouting loudly that his son was a lively person and a happy soul . Someone had murdered him . Police arrived at the spot , they interrogated to everyone in the apartment and checked the house of the victim twice but they didn't get anything , they convinced the mother that his son had commited suicide because there was no suspicious thing on the suicide spot . But in just one week , police reported 4 more suicide of students studying in college . In the all the suicide cases , there was only one common link was that , they all were students of a different streams . In just one moths they reported 15 suicides . They all were shocked with the sudden suicide of the intelligent students . They tried their level best to catch the clue . They did post-mortem of the dead bodies for two to three times but the result were always the same - a clear suicide . When they saw the situation of the other countries they came to know that this was happening not just in America but also in the other countries of the World . In just one month , all over the World , total 306 suicides were reported of the brilliant students . All the central agency of every country understood that the case was more than the suicide . They appointed the best officers of their department to solve the mystery but they all got nothing . After the struggle of 8 months they didn't get anything and on the other side , in all over the World nearly 4583 suicide of students were reported . After such a big number of suicides , INTERPOL took the matter in their hands as they considered it as a international issue which was disturbing many countries simultaneously . "
One of the officer of his team asked -" Sir , still we are at the same point or we get something to catch that murderer ? "
Chief closed the presentation and turned on the lights . With a dull face , he uttered -" We are still in the dark . "
A German senior officer spoke up -" I know how to find that culprit . "
Mr. Quinn asked -" Go ahead . "
German Officer Walter -" We are trying to catch him but still he is escaping very smoothly because he has a brilliant mind with a devil intentions . If we want to catch him then we need to find a person who is more intelligent then him . "
Maverick asked -" But how we will find that person . "
After hearing Officer Walter's idea , Mr. Quinn , gave a little smile as he understood how to find that most intelligence person . He ordered his subordinates to select top ten Detectives of the World and gave them a work to make a puzzle which could be only solved by a genius mind .
One of the subordinate answered -" Yes chief . "
By seeing the sensitiveness of the case they called top ten Detectives within a day from all over the world . All the ten Detectives made a puzzle as per instructions but when they gave their puzzle to each other then they solved all the puzzle except one .
The Detective who gave that puzzle spoke up -" Inspector Quinn , no one can solve my riddle except me and the only person who is smarter than me . Inshort , no one can solve it within a day , if someone ever try to solve it they need more than one day to understand it . "
Including Mr. Quinn , all other senior Officers agreed to use this puzzle in a online contest . INTERPOL itself annouced the competition and was ready to pay a handsome amount to the winner . They created a new website and appointed thirty to forty officers for the monitoring . When the contest was announced and started , within a day , lakhs of people from all over the world log-in on that website .
The puzzle was so tricky that most people leave it in between and some of the people were constantly trying to reached the solution . They were ceaselessly monitoring from atleast ten days . In ten days , four people had successfully decoded the puzzle but they took more than six days so INTERPOL put them on hold .
One of the monitoring officer , William advised -" Chief , in my view , we have to stop this contest here . I don't think so there would be any who could decode this puzzle in a day . "
Mr. Quinn refused his idea and made him understand about the seriousness of situation .
When they were conversing one of the monitoring officer shouted out loud -" Chief chief..........someone had logged in our website and decoded that puzzle in just two hours and submitted ."
Mr. Quinn rushed towards her table and eagerly asked -" Who is that guy Officer Bette ? From where he had logged in !? I want each and every information about that guy . "
Bette uttered -" I am trying chief . "
Control room phone ranged , an Officer near the phone picked up the call . The phone was from Germany , they informed -" Three more suicide happened in this week with the same pattern . "
That Officer immediately went to conference hall and informed chief . Mr. Quinn asked Bette -" What's the lead ? "
" Chief , that guy name is Derry Clyborne . He is a Russian citizen and currently living in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia . He is a college student . "
Mr.Quinn ordered his team to called that guy . Bette informed -" Chief , I tried his phone but it's not reachable . "
" Damn!!!!! "
Mr, Quinn ordered his subordinates to apprised Malaysian Police about that guy . Mr. Quinn sent his team to Kuala Lumpur to took Derry Clyborne .
