Kaylee just stared downwards at the ground then suddenly tears broke through her eye lids and she started to wail with a high pitched voice screaming, and then pouting a while after, she was in a panic attack after hearing the news about their friend who had also been there the last night I was pushed in the hole, had been hit by a truck in a hit and run.
With no one for a suspect, the perpetrator gets away free while a young boy is laid to rest,
"Johnny was killed last night," Jason said.
We all just stood there in shock of what was going on around us, when just then the police show up in 4 marked patroller's and two police Van's.
I have to run was my first thought but an escape wouldn't be easy, so I stayed put along side Jason, and Kaylee.
For the time being, I could almost blend in but my hands were covered in Tyler's blood and there was no way to get them clean in time.
So instead I ran to the back of Jason's house and hide there silently until I felt it was safe to run, to the mud field.
I noticed that the police didn't stop to ask questions about Jason and Kaylee being out of class so early, so instead I fled the back of the house and made a break for it to the field where I would be able to hide completely in the mud.
Crossing the street without my mother seeing and finding out was one thing but a whole police department not noticing would be shear luck, if I had any luck left that is.
