After Jason had gained the ability to sense Qi, and his body began to produce it, he needed to learn how to use it. The basic principle was to circulate Qi through the body, which sounds easy in theory. In reality, it was more about finding where the energy could flow through. The body has passageways where certain energies can flow through. Like different highways, but those highways were lost, and full of impurities, or blockage. Jason not only needed to find the entrance to each highway, but he needed to open it and then clear the way little by little. However, there was one silver lining. The passageways Qi uses run along with the circulatory system and respiratory system, and that bit of knowledge helped facilitated finding said passageways. It was just a matter of tightening the search area. For someone else that would be the main way to do it. For Jason, it wasn't guesswork as he could see into every inch of his body. He could see even the pathways that were once invincible until Qi started being produced in his hear. It was like seeing a vein inside his veins but almost transparent. The only reason he could see those veins now is because they were starting to glow faint red and their interior began to look muddy brownish. When Jason told this to Luis of course he was surprised once again. A person born with Qi aptitude can find the passages quite fast as well, it's only for those who start learning to use Qi for the first time, that they have a very hard time finding the passageways. For Jason being able to see the passage inside his body, meant that his cells had a very different way of seeing things. One can only learn to see Qi after years and years of practice. Luis was an A rank, but he never really bother trying to concentrate his Qi sense to his eyes, he was fine sensing it around him and inside him, since to him sensing the enemies Qi didn't necessarily change the outcome of the battle. However, not only had gaining Qi sense helped Jason see his Qi inside via his cells, but~ after detecting this the system went crazy when his eyes began to feel the energy inside his heart.
[Scan function has detected Qi inside your body.]
[Your eyes are now taking in Qi and unlocking a feature of the Scan function ]
[Energy sensing:
Qi 1 - > 26!!]
[You will now be able to see Qi, feel it in the air, and see it inside other people, should you wish it though.]
'Hu? Isn't that pretty much the maximum potential of Qi sensing?' Jason asked.
[Negative. The maximum potential has not been reached. The maximum potential will allow you to do more than just see Qi.]
[Unable to access further information on the subject.]
'Well, whatever. Let's see how Qi looks on the outside.' Jason thought as he opened his eyes for the first time since he closed them for his training, the energy in the air was like a mist of orange close to red. Jason then said, "Oh cool!!" Luis was confused and asked him what he meant to which Jason responded, "My evolved eyes can see Qi now. It looks like an orange kinda mist but not thick enough to blind me." Luis was shocked but at this point, the shock was a bit smaller than the last one. Still a shock, just a little bit lest. "Hey, that's cool!! I can make it so it's more transparent or just not see it! Awesome! It'll be less distracting that way." Jason smiling, but then his expression changed to one of confusion as he looked at Luis and saw how little Qi was running inside his body. "That can't be right." Jason said puzzled, "I know you have a lot of Qi but I didn't think it would look that small." Luis smiled and said, "Ah, don't pay attention to that. I'm just suppressing it inside my body so that others can't sense or see how much I really have. Your eyes seem to know the actual amount but still be fooled by my suppression. Let me show you." Luis then stopped suppressing his energy and Jason made a jump where he sat as he yelled, "HOLLY SHIT!!!" His eyes went wide open, looking like they were gonna pop out of his head, as he leaned back and said, "Fuck!! I knew you had a lot but I didn't think it would cover nearly the entire cave!!! Holy shit that's a lot!! Wait, why does the Qi that isn't yours look like red mist but the one coming from you looks like it's gray?" Luis smiled at his reaction as he suppressed his energy once more while explaining that everyone has their own energy signature, mostly it's just how their body filters energy to tie it to themselves. A lot of people can share the same color, yet use completely different abilities. However, that only applies to abilities that aren't of an elemental nature, but we'll leave that for later. With that information, Jason looked down at his chest trying to see his heart and see his energy, but unfortunately, the amount was too little to actually see much from the outside. So with his cells, he tried to take a look and saw how it looked. It was not what he expected as it was a deep red like blood. Putting that aside for the moment, Jason asked what he needed to do now that he could sense his Qi. Luis told him to try and gain control over it by circulating it in his heart and lungs as he breathed. First, he needed enough to start sending it through the passageways and clear them up little by little. For Jason getting control was easy, and even got the skill for it.
[Qi Manipulation Lv.1]
'Wow, already? Awesome. Even better now my points are 560. I'm still gonna save them up though. I can't wait to get the shop.' Jason thought. For the rest of the day, Jason was to increase his Qi until he could start clearing out at least one passageway. Usually, people would try to clear all at once little by little but Luis told him that if managed to close the circle of one passageway, it would make clear the others that much faster. It wasn't a popular technique since it took a bit of time and made it impossible for one to go into combat efficiently, but Luis wanted to keep Jason from fighting just yet since his anger could lead him to kill without a second thought. For once, Jason was actually met with a challenge. Even though he had the aptitude of all energies, his control wasn't any better and his passageways were very clogged up even if he had trained his body before. Not to mention his passageways had been neglected and atrophied a bit. Lucky for Jason, he was a rather clever individual thanks to his increased Int. He decided to ignore his passageways and focus on getting the amount his heart could handle to the max while circulating it inside his heart and increasing his control. By the end of his training for the day his Qi and his control had increased.

[Qi 1 -> 15/15]{Max amount your heart can handle at the moment. Please increase your Str. and your Dex., open up your passways or level. Doing all of the above will greatly increase your energy amount.}
'Is not much, but progress is progress. Now I can use some of my abilities without draining my Stamina completely.' Jason thought happy with his progress, 'Now I need to open up one passageway little by little and hopefully, I'll be able to fight back for real.' Jason wasn't stupid. He knew Luis didn't want him fighting just yet, which is why he suggested only clearing one path. However, Jason was already thinking of ways to fight using other abilities. That being said Jason also wanted to increase his Shapeshifting ability. He felt it could be used in battle if he could turn his nails sharp enough for it, or at the very least make his knuckles a bit harder and bigger. The possibilities were endless as he had read about such people using it that way. Now he just needed to know the limit of his abilities, but he would have to put it on hold until he got a moment to do so. Sure could've done it while walking home . . . But he wasn't walking home. Luis was merciless making Jason run all the way home. He got lucky his stats had increased, as well as his abilities and he got Qi now. However Luis knew this and he had made Jason not just run home at full speed, oh no no, that wasn't enough. Luis made Jason run at full speed and do laps around the neighborhood until Jason just collapsed saying, "Please, just kill me already." That was the only moment Luis let him breathe, but he still made Jason walk home after collapsing 5 blocks away. On the plus side, once he got home there was food and drink ready for him, and he did gain some stats.

[Str. 23 -> 27]
[Dex. 26 -> 27]
[Regeneration Lv.2 -> 3 & Cell Regeneration Lv.2 -> 3]
[20 A&S points gained]
'Fuck you Str. Grow already!! I am in pain!!' Jason thought while he scarfed down his food, 'Ugh, to think I'll need to level up before my Stamina can go up past 40.' 40 doesn't sound like much but it's actually a lot, and that made his experience worse because, by the time he was finally tired and done, he had run 80 miles in total. How was that possible? Because he had Qi feeding his Regeneration and then Stamnina was feeding it after that was drained. By the time Jason was out of energy and Stamina he was sweating so much he looked like he had been running in the rain, and he stank to prove he had in fact trained. After scarfing down his food he went up took a very brisk shower, and just died in his bed. The system helps Jason a lot and makes many things that are usually impossible, possible, and his viral nature breaks even more rules. However, there are limits to how much punishment his body can take before he just wants to die. His stamina takes a while to drain but regenerating it takes just as long even after eating. Food helps increase the speed, but only after he successfully digests it, and his body was just so tired, even his stomach was taking its time to digest the food. So all Jason could do is sleep, when he had plans to practice and experiment with his abilities. That was definitely not happening that day. He was out like a light and there was nothing he could do, but on the plus side he had a good dream. . . until he dreamt of that hellish training, and what other horrible training Luis could come up with. When Jason finally woke up in the morning he was beyond grateful he could take a break and go to school. Never in his life was he happy he could go to school before today. During summer he was happy to just sleep and rest after hell, but after yesterday he just wanted to get away from Luis before he decided to put him through more punishment. Jason was fully, and I mean fully recovered physically, so quite literally he could return to that hell, and repeat it the next day because sleep gave his cells and body time to recover with the added help of the system. However mentally, the notion of going through that just made his stomach churn and turn. Oh was he happy to reach the door of his house all dressed up and ready, hell he was going out earlier than usual and skipped breakfast. He was planning on just stopping at a convenience store and eat from there. He was gone so fast he didn't even notice he forgot his backpack until he had reached the convenience store and realize he had even forgotten to put his Odin in, after taking it out yesterday and placing it in its case. Jason debated going back home to rummage through the pockets of the pants he wore yesterday and to get his backpack, or just forget about it and go to school. However seeing he couldn't pay for his food without his Odin, he had no option. He couldn't even hold back from saying, "Fuck." as he headed back home to get his things. Back home Maria greeted him and made him sit down to eat with the others. When Luis opened his mouth to speak, Jason was already ready to just bolt it out of the house and just forget about school. "Today I want you to practice using your Qi while you're walking and at school. Try clearing your passageway as you move or do different things. You need to learn how to use it while moving as it'll be essential in battle." Luis said, and Jason just couldn't help let out a sigh of relief after hearing those words. . . He celebrated too early. "I want you to run to school all the way, and back after school. Once your back I'll have a set of exercise I want you to do before bed." Luis said and Jason just had to protest, "Oh come on!! How am I gonna get my other abilities to level up if I don't even have time to practice with them?! The part about using Qi I understand, but when am I gonna learn how to sense and use the other 2 energies?! At this rate, I'll only be a martial artist, and while that sounds nice, I need a bigger arsenal. For fuck's sake I'm going to war against the No.1 Family in the world I need more than just martial arts to fight them!! My dad alone can use all 3 and he's what? 30 and rank B+? By the time I'm 18, he'll probably already reach rank A+ or worse. They have resources I don't so I need to do more than just one thing. Look I get it. You don't want me to kill just because I lost my temper, but in case you forgot my abilities literally revolve around me killing!" Hearing that last line made Bry and Maria widened their eyes for 2 reasons; one Jason saying he needed to kill, and two talking to Luis about his ability. That only meant that he had opened up to Luis and told him about his abilities. "Ok yes, I get it, I have to be careful, and not lose my temper, but what other option do I have? Unless I start venting out my anger, I'm a ticking time bomb, and is not like I can just jump the wall and take it out on beasts. Aside from that I still haven't had the time to practice anything else or test what I can or can't do. I don't even know my limits yet." Jason finally finished and that little outburst made Luis leer at him, and a VERY cold chill went down Jason's spine when he saw it.
There was a very eerie silence in the room until Luis stopped leering at Jason and sighed. He knew he couldn't fool Jason in his attempt to slow his growth just enough to deal with his anger but Jason did have a few points. "OK. Today you do as I said, and when you get home instead of exercises we'll test your limits. If we finish in time maybe we can deal with teaching you how to use the other energies. As for your anger. . . Try to avoid people if you can." Luis said and Jason responded, "OR!~ We can just excuse me from school, say I'm sick with something even healing will take to deal with, and I can spend a couple of days training and finding a way for me to vent out as much anger as I can before I go back to school." Bry protested saying that Jason shouldn't skip school so much or he would fall behind, "What's more the school knows I'm a certified doctor and a healer. I don't think they'll believe you can be sick so easily. We already had to tell the school yesterday, and the day before, that you had an accident with a car. They know that with my ability it should only take 2 days for you to be fully healed." Jason couldn't help be disappointed at the notion of being hindered by school as well. Even with his genes, system, and abilities, he was still behind and it would take some time to catch up enough to be a threat for even the lowest of his family. The only way he could curve that is if he had more free time to train and if he could get more beings to infect. He needed to use everything at his disposal and more. "Look we can discuss this later, right now just go to school, and later today we'll see what we can do." Luis said, "And besides I need to go on a hunt today and get some credits into our savings account to prepare for the flashback from our resignation." Jason then interrupted saying, "About that! Why don't we just wait till I'm 18? It gives you time to get more money and prepare legally, and as a bonus, I'll be disowned by then so you can just adopt me after the fact and by that point, it won't matter what they think. Heck, I don't think they'll even care. Plus they won't care what happens to me then so it'll just be dealing with their bullshit when you resing." This surprised everyone not because it was a brilliant plan but because Jason had agreed to be adopted. Especially when just yesterday he didn't believe or trust them. Jason was still using the scan function to read their emotions and as a prank, he smiled, "Oh btw as of yesterday I can read your minds, so I'll know if you're lying and destroy you. Oh and Bry? Maria has the hots for you." Jason finished as he went back to eating with a smile. Bry blushed and looked at Maria with wide eyes, and so did Maria before protesting, "T-That's not true! He's lying!" Then Maria looked at Jason and said, "Jason! How dare you lie about something like this?! It's not funny!!" With a smile, Jason looked at Maria and said, "Then why is your heart raising, and you're thinking, 'How did he know?! Can He really read minds?! He can't be!!' " Maria stood up yelling, "YOU'RE LYING!!!" Jason smiled and said, "Ok you're right I am lying." Maria let out a sigh of relief but then Jason said, "She's actually thinking, 'Oh no!! Now Bry knows!! What will I do now!!' " Maria yelled, "JASON!!" Bry was just blushing turning red like a tomato and Maria was now chasing Jason as he had run out of the dining room and headed to his room to hide while laughing. Luis was shaking trying to contain his laugh while he drank some coffee, as he just couldn't believe Jason had pulled a prank after so many years of not really being a child. What made it worse is that he was actually telling the truth to an extent. Luis knew Jason's couldn't really read minds, just approximately detect a person's state of mind. However, he was telling the truth about Maria's crush, as he also had noticed certain cues, and obviously, Jason had too. Bry was just oblivious at the sings and so was Maria towards Bry's sings. Then from upstairs Jason yelled from behind his room's door, "Don't worry Maria! Bry also has a crush on you!!" and while Bry stood up yelling, "JASON!!!" Maria had asked, "Wait, he does?" Which of course betrayed her. Jason couldn't help but laugh hard as he said, "And you said I was lying.~" This made Maria's rage return as she then used a spell to blow up Jason's door, but Jason had already escaped through the window, with his things.
Jason didn't just run at full speed to his school because Luis told him to, but because Maria was on his hills shooting low-level magic missiles and some other attacks. He was only saved after he got beyond the school gate where Maria stopped and looked at him like she was gonna kill him as she said, "I'll be waiting for you after school." You could see a vein popping on her forehead as she forced a smile and her left eyebrow twitched. "OR!~ You could just thank me for helping you with your love life and go home to talk to Bry about it since the poor man is too scared to reveal that he has a crush on you. Which! he very much does." Said Jason with a cheeky smile. This only made Maria angrier and for a moment you could swear there was a demon inside her as she tried very hard to calmly say, "I'll see you after school, you little liar." With a smile, Jason raised his right eyebrow and asked, "Was I lying about you?" Anyone who was watching could swear Maria was engulfed in a red aura. Still smiling Jason left with a pep in his step. School went on like normal, and like always kids were throwing stuff at Jason or kicking the back of his chair, but Jason ignored it all. He was controlling his anger pretty well by doing 2 things; 1. imagining hundreds of ways he could punish them without killing them. It usually involved beating the shit out of them or breaking their limbs and 2. using his Qi to clear and revive his passageway. It was going slowly, Very, slowly, but at least there was some progress. Luckily no one noticed the energy inside him because of how little it was, so he could still keep it a secret. However, he did ask the system how he could suppress his energy like Luis.
[If you increase your Qi manipulation, you'll be able to learn how to mask your Qi.]
With that Jason then focused on Qi manipulation by simply circulating in his heart and clearing his passageway enough to get one more point in his Qi, which scared Jason because he didn't want anyone noticing.
[Energy 15 -> 16]
[Qi 16/16]
Seeing that he decided to not push anymore and just moving his Qi in and out of his passageway in a small circular motion creating a small loop from his heart and passageway. Which to his mistake help expand the passageway, healing its atrophy and giving Jason another 2 points. However, it did serve as he wanted.
[Energy 16 -> 18]
[Qi 18/18]
[Qi Manipulation Lv.5 -> 6]
Since the passageway had been fully healed in the little bit that was cleared, Jason didn't gain any more points, but he did manage to get better control of his Qi. He then started to go beyond the passageway and instead try to move his Qi out of it trying to send it into his vein and cells. It had worked better than he expected. His blood cells were drinking in the Qi and moving faster around his body. It wasn't a lot of Qi but it was enough to make a difference in the blood cells.
[Cell Manipulation Lv.2 -> 5]
[Qi Manipulation Lv. 6 -> 7]
It was this thinking outside the box moment that gave Jason another idea. He pulled all his Qi back into his heart and started to compress it into a ball as much as he could. He was making very little progress but then the teacher snapped him out of his concentration because he looked distracted and the teacher asked him to solve the problem on the board. With a single look at the board, he came to the answer very quickly thanks to his increased Int., so he stood up, went to the board, and wrote down everything with the holographic interface, and then sat back down like it was nothing. This was quite normal for Jason to do, but this time he did it way too fast and the teacher couldn't believe it, especially considering he missed two days of class and this was new material not previously discussed until yesterday. Yet Jason understood the material faster than his usual self. Jason could tell the stats were doing more than just calculate and express them in number. They were compressing his stats and it was getting more noticeable as the days went on. It was like the numbers were now making his body reflect it. His muscles were starting to show and he could swear yesterday he was stronger, faster, and could last longer than he ever had before. It was like he was approaching the levels of professional athletes and reaching the very peak of the human body in the measurement of normal humans without abilities. Jason wanted to reach that point, to become as strong as he could before breaking the barrier of human limits. However, that is easier said than done, but that is part of the challenge and he was happy to accept it. Returning his focus to hi Qi he tried once more to compress it little by little. At first, he thought it was a good idea until his chest hurt a little and got a warning.
[WARNING!!]
[Your heart is not strong enough to condense your Qi without harming yourself or worse.]
'Shit. I was kinda hoping I could make my Qi stronger. Guess I'll have to wait.' Jason thought, then a second idea showed up in his head as he got a little excited. 'If the problem is that my heart is not strong enough, then why don't I just focus on making my heart stronger?' For this, he wanted to really focus so he asked to go to the bathroom and left. Once in a bathroom stall he closed the lid and sat down closing his eyes. He then proceeded to bring as many of his cells as he could to be around his heart ready in case there was a complication and then started to focus his Qi around his heart starting from the outside. He focused on one small part area of his heart the size of his red blood cell and focused on making that area stronger. It sounds like a simple command but he was picturing how the muscle fibers were becoming stronger little by little, by imagining it growing and hardening like metal or stone but maintaining flexibility. Seeing as there was no message to warn him he slowly imagine the area growing little by little until he could picture his entire heart. He imagined as Qi worked to strengthen his heart and making it able to sustain more Qi and stronger Qi.
[Warning. You are too low-leveled to strengthen your heart.]
'Goddammit!!' Jason was trying really hard not to curse but as he sighed he thought, 'Well at the very least I know it's possible.' He then had a faint smile as he thought, 'And~ I think I figure out how to get a new ability.' While Jason could control his Qi to an extent, he couldn't move it very far outside his heart to the passageway. However, he knew that it powered his ability to regenerate and he figured out how it was doing so. His cells would get drunk in the energy then carry it to where the damage was and the cells would heal the damage. So he figured if he couldn't strengthen his body, he would strengthen his cells, and that was a magnificent success of an idea.

'If I wasn't in school I would laugh like a supervillain.' Jason thought smiling from ear to ear. After returning his smile to a serious expression, he went back to class and continued to circulate his Qi only in his heart to avoid getting more points into Energy and getting found out by the teachers. At lunch, he quickly ate and went to his next classroom before class started to train his Qi further, while he moved his eyes as if he was reading or watching something in his Odin. By the time the next class started, he was a bit frustrated he couldn't level up his Qi Manipulation. 'Shit, maybe I should've trained something else.' Jason thought, 'Kinda wish I had a meter or something to measure my A&S progress.' While class went on Jason kept trying to get another level into his skill but no level up came. It wasn't a surprise that the difficulty would rise, especially since he couldn't do much other than circulate his Qi in his heart. At this point, summer couldn't come fast enough. If he had his way he would forsake school until he was strong enough to fight if necessary. Unfortunately, he had to keep up appearances for the sake of his grander plans. By the time school ended he couldn't run out of the classroom fast enough and headed for the entrance. Pity he had been spotted by an unsavory party.
At the school entrance, Jason expected to see Maria still fuming, but to his surprise, she was nowhere to be found. 'This has to be a trap right? . . .' Jason thought as he looked around the entrance, "Well, I have to run anyway." He said as he just bolted at full speed from the gate. There was no incoming strike and nothing out of the ordinary for the first few miles until Jason could feel a gust of wind behind him and on pure battle instinct, he jumped forward rolling before jumping back to his feet while turning to see what was behind him, only to see a fist headed for his face only to dodge it at the last second by ducking down. Jason didn't know what was happening to him until he got a message.

The information was received via voice format, as to not overwhelm Jason or distract him while he dodged a few more attacks. Before jumping back enough to get a look at his assailant but the attacks just kept coming and to his surprise, he was managed to dodge them. The speed of the attacks was faster than Jason could see, and the only reason he managed to dodge them is because his new skills were telling him where the danger came from and how to avoid it, but his dodging was eating away at his Qi faster than he could recover it. However, another thing that aided in his dodging was the fact that the attacks were sloppy and too simple, easy to predict once you could tell the pattern. Jason could only think of one person with such speed but nonexistent fighting knowledge, 'Dylan.' Any other day Jason would be getting beaten to a pulp but two things had changed and it wasn't just Jason's awakening. 1. Jason had his fire ignited in him like never before and he wasn't gonna just take it anymore. 2. Jason actually took the time to analyze the battle instead of jumping in blindly. He wanted to win this time even if it meant exhausting every bit of his body to do it. Without realizing Jason had been backed into a wall and his momentary distraction at his back touching the wall got him kicked squared in the stomach with a force that made him nearly puke, but he resisted. Unlike Luis's strikes that were meant to sting and not cause lasting harm, this one was testing his resistance and defense to the point where Jason didn't even need to see the message to let him know he took enough damage for his Str went up. He could feel it as his muscles ached and regenerated, but he didn't pay it much mind as he looked up to see a skinny pale kid with blond hair named Dylan, looking down at Jason angry and with entitlement as he said, "Since when can you dodge my attacks like that, hu?! Who do you think you are to do that, you worthless piece of shit?!?! You think someone like you deserves the right to fight back?!?!" Dylan then spat at Jason before throwing a kick at him while he was still kneeling on the ground. However, Jason jumped and rolled before jumping to his feet taking a look at Dylan.

Something in Jason snapped and he truly went into battle mode fueled by his anger as he thought, 'You will all suffer. . .' Jason turned his eyes to the fatty and the mage and glare at them as he dropped his backpack and started walking slowly towards them, with death in his eyes. They took a step back scared of Jason but then Dylan charged at Jason. Dylan's greatest weakness is that he relied too heavily on his ability rather than training to actually fight with it. This meant his fighting style was shallow and predictable with no real weight behind it other than speed. It also meant he needed to slow down just enough to hit without hurting himself and properly aim. Without even looking Jason predicted where Dylan was going to attack and caught his fist gripping it with a vice to the point of crushing it making the bones break with the accompanying sound. Dylan held his wrist as he kneeled to the ground screaming because of the pain. Jason just lowly turned his head looking at Dylan letting him know he could kill him as he tightened his grip. Jason then spoke with a voice that resembled the same one he had in his dream, "I'll deal with you soon."
