Lawrend patted his lap, and she sat on it.
"Don't you want to spend more time with me?" Lawrend asked.
"Master, I also want to become strong, but I feel disheartened knowing that it would be impossible for me to catch up to everyone else," Grape replied.
"You don't have to catch up to everyone else. Just following behind them is enough. I don't need you to fight in front of me. I want us to fight together.
