Lawrend's confidence shocked the trio.
"Master, are you sure about this?" Aezel asked solemnly.
Aezel was assigned as his protector. If he died in battle, she wouldn't be able to forgive herself. She would rather take another route instead of fighting the Blumin Emperor head-on.
"I'm sure. I will leave everything to Verkoli and to all of you while I perfect my magic," Lawrend said.
"I understand, Master."
Aezel made up her mind. She would support him to the very end. No matter what he wanted to do. After all, she had great faith in his abilities.
"You're all dismissed."
Lawrend swung his arms.
They started leaving one by one until Aezel was the only one left. She walked closer to him and slowly leaned closer.
Her soft and mellow tongue invaded his mouth and imprinted her smell in his nose. Their breathing was heavy and passionate. They separated a few minutes later.
