Obcisor slowly started treading towards the lake.
"Stay here," he said as he slowly crept forward to check the lake. The lake looked blue like sapphire from far away, but as he got closer, he realized that it was actually crystal clear.
The 5 fruits on the tree looked plump and ripe. They were irresistible. And he knew that if they were as good as he thought they were, there had to be a Wild Boss right around here.
And in this place, the best spot for a Wild Boss to be hiding would be in the water. As he stepped closer to the water, the clear water was now completely visible.
And there was nothing in the lake. "That's weird?" he said to himself. The 5 fruits were too good for no monsters to be here to protect them.
Pink Star came towards him saying, "is everything alright brother Obcisor?" Obcisor looked at her, and was about to say something when suddenly,
BOOM BOOM
He heard 2 massive booms from behind him. Within seconds, water fell from the sky like it was raining.
Obcisor immediately turned back to find 2 giant monsters that had jumped out of the water. What came out were 2 crab-like creatures with giant pincer-like claws on them. Their whole body was brown, and there was a lot of sand on their back.
'So, they were hiding in the ground underwater huh.' He thought. The two giant crabs had massive spikes coming out of their entire body, almost making it look like a truck of a thorn tree.
They had two little beads for eyes that suddenly darted towards Obcisor. Obcisor suddenly thought of something and frowned.
'Surely, not both of them are the Wild Boss, right?? One of them has to be just a normal monster, right?' he thought.
"Br… Brother Obcisor. Sh-shouldn't we be running?" Pink Star started to get frightened behind him. He thought of something and asked her, "Have you learned the [Observe] skill?"
"Yes," she replied immediately.
"Use it on the one to the right, I will use mine on the one in the left." He said and immediately used [Observe]

'Hmm… it's lower HP than a normal wild boss.' He thought. "Did you check it yet?" he asked her.
"Yes," she relayed what she had observed. It was the same information.
"It's Level 70, doesn't that make it a Wild Boss brother Obcisor? We should run, now." Pink Star was already making plans about running away.
"You go hide in the trees, I will fight these monsters," He said.
"You? Alone? Brother Obcisor, this is no time to be joking. I know you are strong, but the one on the right is a Wild Boss. You can't defeat it." She kept on trying to persuade him to leave with her.
Obcisor laughed a little, which made Pink Star confused. He then said, "The one on the left is a Wild Boss as well."
Pink Star's eyes couldn't be wider. The color drained from her face so fast it could match her teeth that were now visible through her wide, and open mouth.
"Go back to the trees, I will take care of it," Obcisor said as he went to fight the monsters.
As always, he went and attacked the left crab, hitting it with multiple stabs from the dagger. The Crab started taking damage. As soon as it was aggro'd, both the crabs tried to crush him with their pincers like a nail with a hammer.
Obcisor didn't care though. He kept attacking the crab until he realized a problem. The crab was no longer taking any damage. Not even a little.
Neither the poison damage was dealing any damage or the occasional zap. Not even the physical attacks themselves were doing much damage.
He got stumped. 'What is happening?' he didn't understand.
The crabs were still stomping on him with their pincers. He used is hands to block the pincers when suddenly, he got the notification that the crab was taking damage again.
He started to attack the crab again, but again, it said 0 damage. 'What? But it just said I damaged it?' he didn't understand what was happening.
'Unless,' he thought. He quickly looked at the health bar on top of the second crab. It was missing a sliver of its massive HP.
'Did I accidentally attacked that one, and manage to damage it?' he thought. Since this crabs wasn't taking any damage, he decided to switch targets.
He went towards the other crab and started attacking it.

He checked the stats of the first crab.

Their stats were nothing good. In fact, they were even some of the worst stats Obcisor had seen on a Level 70 boss. So why was the first crab not taking any damage?
Soon, the second crab stopped taking damage as well. Now he was stumped. If neither of the crabs was taking damage then how was he supposed to kill them?
The crabs were still hitting him with the pincers, so he used [Bulwark's Healing]. Suddenly, he got information saying a crab was taking damage.
He got revitalized and started to attack the second crab once more, but realized this one was not the one that was taking damage. He looked at the first crab and found out that it had started taking damage.
'Are these crabs transferring damage to each other? No, can't be. Then the other crabs would be near death from how much I'm hitting it. Then… could it be one stops taking damage until the other one has taken a significant amount of damage? Hmm…could be. Now that I think about it, the first crab's HP was at exactly 9000.' He thought of all the possibilities and came up with an answer that made sense.
"Then, I should be fine as long as I keep alternating between which crab I attack right?" he said out loud.
He switched and started attacking the first crab once more. As he thought, it was taking damage, and then after a certain amount it stopped.
He immediately switched to attacking the second crab and it was taking damage once more. He kept alternating between the two until they both reached 50% HP.
Suddenly, both of the crabs started shinning blue. Slowly, their bodies started to turn into water. Their entire body was transparent and looked like a glass sculpture.
The water fell into the ground and started swirling around slowly growing back to a single crab, except, this time it was way bigger than either of the previous two crabs.
The water slowly solidified and the features of the crab were now visible. This single crab had a similar body to the last 2 crabs, except it was entirely red, instead of brown. The thorns on its body were now way longer and sharper than the previous ones.
Its pincer especially was now half as large as its entire body.
Obcisor used [Observe] on it.

This was the true battle form of the Wild Boss, King of Crabs.
