Adler finally found a skill he thought would be useful for him.
——————————————————————————————
[Shield Bash
Rarity: Uncommon
Level : 1 (0%)
Type: Active
Mana cost: 200
Cooldown: 50 seconds
Target: Enemy Units
Target Type: Single
Skill Restriction: Warrior, Paladin
Function: Dash 10 meters forward and Bash into an enemy with your shield dealing 150% of your DEF as magic damage and stunning the enemy for 4 seconds.
Damage and stun duration are halved if you do not equip a shield]
———————————————————————————————
This was a stunning skill. Even without a shield, he could stun the enemy for 2 seconds, which was enough for him to get 2 hits in. Also, the fact that it did damage based on DEF stat and not STR stat meant that he could do a lot of damage with his high DEF stat.
He immediately bought the skill. It cost him $5K, but he didn't care. This was too good of an investment to skip out on.
The skill was sent to his inventory. He continued looking for other skills that might interest him.
He decided to take a simple one to increase his damage output.
——————————————————————————————
[Critical Strike
Rarity: Common
Level : 1 (0%)
Type: Passive
Function: 10% chance to deal 200% damage]
———————————————————————————————
It cost him $1K which he didn't even think about as he bought it.
He wanted to look for more items but decided not to. He was very close to getting his Level 50 class advancement and the new skill. It would probably be better for him to keep what he got and wait for himself to get to a higher level.
Who knew, he might get good items from the different dungeons around Raven City.
Thinking so, he logged into the game.

In City A, inside ASAGE HQ.
Shinara was in his office thinking of new exciting stuff he could add to the game, or how he could make the game experience more immersive for the players.
He checked the time and it was 3 PM.
He stood up from his desk and walked out. He soon made his way to the main control room.
There were about 20 people in the room, all looking at the different kinds of stuff happening on the floating screens.
Shinara clapped and everyone immediately turned their attention to him.
"It's been 2 days since put up the new expansion. How is that going along?" he asked the developers in the room.
"Very well sir. The high-level players seem to like the update. We have gotten many positive feedbacks from the community." One of the developers replied.
"Good. How many people joined after the expansion and how many stayed around. I need the exact numbers." He asked once more.
After looking up the numbers, one of the developers said, "We got 243,548,327 new players on the first day and a bit over 5 million joined on Thursday. We haven't completely gotten today's result, but over 200 million of the new players have gone online in the last 24 hours."
"That is very good. You guys all might get bonuses this month. Haha," Shinara laughed. Then he asked,
"Check how many of those people are at level 50 or close to it."
"Let's see. Umm... Around 158 million of the new players are above level 45. None of the new players have crossed over level 50; they seem to be stuck on their class advancement quest." Someone replied.
"Are we going to announce it today sir?" one of the developers asked.
"Hmm... Seems to be the perfect time for it. Alright, announce it. Announce it everywhere. It will take place on, let's see, 12 AM on Sunday. Everyone who wants to join should be online by 11:55 PM on Saturday. " Shinara said.
He then looked at the pillar in the center of the room and said," Hey, Radiance! How's our little myth coming along?"
A women's voice replied from inside the pillar, "He is at level 41 in Raven city of West Continent."
"Level 41? How the hell is he that slow after getting a mythical class. Didn't he start before the expansion? Most people playing after the expansion are already at level 50. Is he trying to disgrace the myth class?" Shinara got a little agitated.
"Show me his recent activities in the game." He asked Radiance.
A bunch of holograms floated in the air showing Obcisor's data from the game.
"What?" Shinara was surprised. "Isn't this guy unemployed? Why is he not playing the game at all?"
According to the data in front of him, Adler had only played the game for a total of 5 hours or a little over a day in the game.
"Only a day of gaming and he is already at level 41. Did we make Mythical Classes a bit too overpowered?" He talked out loud.
Everyone in the room looked a little awkward hearing him say that.
Shinara thought seriously for a moment, and said, "Alright, We need to make sure Myth Classes don't destroy our entire ecosystem in the game. Radiance, We need to change stuff regarding the Myth classes and Legendary classes."
"Sir, are you going to nerf the Legendary and Myth class?" one of the developers in the room asked in a timid voice.
"Isn't that unfair to the player sir?" another one asked.
"Yes it is unfair to the players, but it's better to nip the problem in the bud. Besides we aren't nerfing the classes, only delaying them slightly." Shinara said and looked at Radiance, "Double the requirements for all class advancement quests for Legendary and Myth classes. Also, make it so the quest resets on death. This should slow them down enough for other classes to catch up."
Shinara had no idea how much annoyance this change of his was going to cause Adler, as well as help him in the future.

The 'Path of Glory' community was in an uproar all of a sudden because of the announcement ASAGE made. They had made sure to promote the announcement on all of the social media.
There were multiple comments on the forum post about the announcement posted by the official game account.
- Are you serious? Woohoo, Let's goooo.-
-is this real? Somebody confirm, please-
-Of course, it's real. It's posted by ASAGE.-
-Thank god I haven't completed my class quest yet. I'm still level 50. -
- Hey guys, is there a way to delevel in this game? I'm level 51 and I want to go back.-
- Try dying a few times, you might lose enough experience and go back to 50. Although you might lose a lot of items and the game might not necessarily consider you a level 50 player, since you already completed your class advancement quest.-
The news was making everyone excited, especially the new player.

Obcisor was walking out of the city.
After logging in, he followed the clerk's suggestion just in case and bought a 3 lesser healing potion for 1K gold each.
Just as he was near the city gates, he heard a loud sound in the sky.
It was the same sound that played whenever someone achieved something big or something was being announced.
Obcisor looked up and saw a bunch of golden words floating in the sky.
