Chapter 1 - Prologue 1

A speck of blue light shines brightly in the darkness of space surrounded by millions of the same kind but with different colors speck of light, red, orange, green. It was a sight to behold, a dazzling spectacle of lights and pure silence parallel to the limitless size of space, what a beauty.

Within the tiny blue light lies a planet that orbits the star, a greenish mix orange color planet, that has stellar infrastructure floating around the planet, fleets of ships orbiting the planet can be seen. An important planet for billions of individuals meant as a secret haven, to feel safe, to let their children roam free and grow up without danger lurking around the corner, a secret no longer hidden for these beings.

Kalsar was the name of the planet, with 4 large main continents divided by large vast oceans. Each continent had its own main city, the capital city of the planet was called Iodox, days ago it would have been a regular day for the residents of Iodox, going on with their daily lives.

Well as calm as you could get for a capital city that was housing almost a billion residents, within the city border limits. There were multiple large gatherings of people separated around the city, with many unique species that are different from one another.

From the young to the old families they hung onto each other afraid of what's to come, carrying whatever they could take with them or what they could pack in a short amount of time.

The sky was clouded with ships of all shapes and sizes, many of them were transport ships. People were being loaded onto them and once a ship reached its max capacity it flew off, letting another one take its place shortly after.

"Transport ship TLR57 to ground command we have unloaded our cargo and are available for more pickups tell us where we are needed."

"Ground command to TLR57 land at sector 6, landing area 3, a build-up populace is growing rapidly."

"TLR57, sector 6, landing area 3, orders received, adjusting flight path." The purple skin Alien pilot tightly had its four finger-like tendrils wrapped around the steering controls, slowly angling it downward.

-On the ground-

"Please remain calm! more ships will be arriving shortly! I repeat please remain calm! All of you will be transported off of this planet safely!"

A purple alien humanoid wearing metallic armor, with a visor screen on his helmet blocking his facial appearance stood on a floating platform that was flying above and around the crowd of people making sure to keep things in order. Several beings of similar appearance and skin color were scattered all over the ground, but with the number of people there, they had difficulty trying to move around.

"This is a shit show..." A soldier said while shaking his head, struggling to weave through the crowd.

"It's a shit show we got to deal with... try to stay close and stop anyone from trying to cause a ruckus in this crowd, everyone already scared as it is." His superior replied back to him.

Over a few meters away were a mother and her child holding onto each other closely.

"Mom... will we make it before the bad ones come?" A worried alien looked up at its mother. She returns with a soft smile. "We will make it... just trust them, and trust mommy." She brought her child closer to her and hugged them tightly.

"Hey, you just almost knock me over!" A furious alien pulls over another alien angrily "We're all in a hurry, so let me go!" He brushes him off his shoulder

"Hey, let go! Help!" A struggle between two aliens, a scared one and a thief. Both of them were tugging on a bag hard.

"Get your hands off that bag now!" The soldiers closest to the situation shouted over, the thief turns to look at the soldiers "Fuck!" quickly letting go of the bag, the thief ran off. "We got a runner, after him!"

"In pursuit!" Another soldier radio over, nudging the panicked civilians over to the side. "Excuse me, pardon me!"

Somewhere else a tall white metal structure located a few miles away, a white room with singular being inside, the lone purple alien wearing a similar armor design as the soldiers outside the building, but it had more of a ceremonial look to it. That lone alien is staring up at a large holographic projection of the planet, the stellar infrastructure, and the fleets that orbit the planet.

"Why." He mutters under a soft breath

He quietly monitors the situation, his eyes scanning everything that could be seen on the projection. Both hands had four finger-like tendrils curled up into a tight ball, the being wasn't wearing a helmet as a clear sign of dread looms over his face. He knows what's coming for them and he is scared, but he must see it through to the end, even if it means his own life will be put on the line once again.

"Why must it always come to this? Bloodshed..." His eyes move away from the holographic projection, squinting. A lot of mixed emotions and thoughts were running through his mind currently.

A light grid shines the shape of a door on the side of a wall, it slides open revealing another alien humanoid that was standing. Compare to the one inside, it had a greenish camo-like pattern skin color, a taller and skinner body structure over the shorter and more body toned purple humanoid alien.

"There you are, I was searching all over for you, I should have thought of coming here first." The green one chuckled at the purple one, she had a friendly expression on her face. "You know watching that projection won't help the overall situation." She starts to approach him.

"It helps calm my nerves." He replied back, turning most of the way to face her. "So how is the situation out there? And the people?" He said in a worried tone.

She took one quick glance at the hologram and then back to her friend. "The transportation of people is going fine, the people are ok, And only minor problems have occurred so far."

"Hearing that brings a bit more joy." A light faint smile was on his face.

She eyes at the hologram again "Though that might not be the case when they finally arrive." She let out a quiet sigh.

"I know..." He said with a dishearting expression

"I know, that's why I already prepare myself mentality that I'll most likely die on this battlefield." He responds back with a harsher tone of voice.

"Are you really though?" She questioned, her friend tried giving her an answer but the silence was the answer she had gotten back from him.

"Don't be like this." She crossed her arms together "Don't give me the silent treatment"

"This- I cannot give you a straight answer to that question."

"I know that the chances of my survival are dangerously low."

"But I must slow them down here, for you and everyone on this planet to escape in time" He puts a hand on his chest "This is not another one of my self-sacrifices, but for my species as a whole."

"I could feel how heavily this weighs on you and your mind, my friend." She reached out a fin-like hand and place it on top of his shoulder.

He felt the comfort of his close friend beside him, a comfort he wish was meant for something else rather than bloodshed. A slight tingling feeling came upon her forehead, with small amounts of sparkling light shining through her skin.

Her eyes gleam a little and squinted then she looks at her friend's body, especially on one side of his chest. "how your scar?" She points at the area.

He looks down at his lower chest area, beneath his clothing and armor lies a scar that was recently made by a familiar person. He plants a hand on his side and looks back up at his friend.

"Other than a slight irritation of the surface skin, I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You're not saying that to lessen my worry?"

He slaps his side a few times and nods. "I'm telling you the truth, you can know I'm not lying." Stating the obvious faint sparkling of lights on her forehead. She lifts her hand away as the lights begin to fade from her forehead.

"You have done so much for me and my people, and the other species that called this planet their new home..."

"I hope our savior will back out alive." She clutched one of her hands tightly.

"my words alone will not be able to change the outcome of this battle but." She smiled at him. "Good luck, Jingor, my friend."

"thank you for speaking with me, Xe'lur, but this surely will probably be our last" Jingor smiled back at Xe'lur.

"Don't say that just yet"

"It's the most probable outcome."

"I-..." She stops herself from talking.

Xe'lur quietly stares back at Jingor, he already made up his mind about what's going to happen to him. Whatever Xe'lur agrees with his mindset or not, they weren't a lot of support to back up her statement. She turns herself halfway around and stopped.

"Well since you said that I should say why I was looking for you, once you're ready, Please head back to your flagship, your people need you."

"I was asked to find you and tell you that right away, but seeing how you are now, I decided to put that off a bit later." She then walks away from Jingor.

She stops at the doorframe and turns her head back to him. "You better hurry your majesty, don't keep them waiting." She giggles and proceeds to leave the room, leaving him alone again.

Jingor looks at the holographic projection once more, giving it a good final scan before he feels like he's ready to leave. "I am ready" He took in a deep breath.

"I am prepared, I am ready," He said to himself repeatedly, closing his eyes. Until he opens then again.

"Brothers, Sisters... I'll see you soon on the battlefield, And I'm sorry that it must come to this nonsense." He clenches both of his hands, swiftly spinning around, and leaves the room, the holographic image flicker and disappeared as darkness consume the once-lit white room.
