Ye Jin went to the cafeteria and stood in line for the coupon. When it was her turn to place the order she stared at the screen, "What should I choose? Meal A or Meal B?"
Someone from behind said, "I suggest Meal B, I heard that the meatball soup noodles served here taste delicious."
She replied without looking back, "Hmm, yes you are right since Su Yeon is not here, I don't have anyone to share Meal A, I would rather go for Meal B. It is smaller so I can finish on my own."
While selecting the option and the rest payment process, she sighed and said, "Ahhh, my poor child Su Yeon, it's been only a few days and she is already attending the client meeting. Can her small body resist so much pressure?"
The person behind her back heard it and this increased the curiosity, "Who?" Ye Jin thought that the person standing behind her was one of her colleagues, so she told, "I am talking about my friend Su Yeon from the finance department, the one with whom I have lunch every time."
'Ohh, that's why I didn't see her,' the person behind her thought. Ye Jin took her coupon and went to the table for taking the meal. Just in a minute, the servers gave her a plate. She took it and went to find a table.
Just then she once again heard the same voice, "Wait! You left your phone on the counter."
Since she was holding the plate by both her hands with wallet between her fingers she said while turning around, "Ziyan, can you please hold my phone…" Ye Jin froze when she looked at the person in front of her.
"It seems that you can't hold your phone, can I keep it in my pocket? I will return you when we get a seat," the person who was standing behind her previously said.
Ye Jin continued staring at the person with eyes wide open like she is seeing a ghost. The person felt weird, "Excuse me? Do I look that scary?" Ye Jin didn't know what to say so she just nodded, turned around and started finding an empty table.
The person got confused so he kept her phone in the pocket and followed her. Ye Jin sat on the chair and got startled when she saw the same person sitting opposite to her. That person said while passing her phone, "Your phone… you don't have any problem if I sit here, do you?"
Ye Jin quickly replied, "No! Not at all. Hahaha… Ahh… Anyway, Su Yeon won't be joining me so I am the only one sitting here."
The person chuckled at her cute behavior and said, "Ok, by the way," he extended his hand towards her and introduced himself, "I am Han Jiang. I just joined today as Manager in the finance department."
Ye Jin got surprised but quickly accepted his handshake, "Nice to meet you, Manager Han, I am Go Ye Jin, an intern in the IT department."
After that, no one said anything, both of them were busy with their own thoughts. One was trying to connect all scattered dots and another one was beaming with happiness and excitement.
Manager Han thought, 'Firstly, I found a girl familiar this morning, she is also an intern. Next, this IT intern said that her friend, Su Yeon, an intern in my department went for a client meeting. Furthermore, Manager Kang told me that Manager Lui went for client meeting with an intern. Manager Han heard about this Grim Reaper and thought, 'Woah! He is indeed like our handsome demon! Hmm, G for Grim Reaper, what is the logic? Wait, G stands for Gon… no-no, why does my mind always revolve around that Gon and Miss pair!'
Ye Jin added, "One more important thing, he never talks with female employees if not necessary but…" and started laughing when she remembered how Su Yeon described Mr. Grim Reaper.
Manager Han asked, "What happened?" Ye Jin replied, "Ahh, nothing. I remembered something." Manager Han hummed and continued eating.

On the other side of Imperial City,
Manager Lui drove to the Central Mall. In the car, Su Yeon checked her phone. She got shocked when she saw almost six to seven missed calls from Ye Jin. She was about to give a callback but then she saw the last notification. It was a text from Ye Jin.
Ye Jin: Don't get shocked, I got to know that you went for a meeting. Just ping me whenever you get free. ^ ^
Su Yeon looked at Manager Lui. She wanted to ask if they were going back to the office after the meeting, but then she rejected this idea. Manager Lui said, "Intern Yoon, can you rearrange the whole thing we discussed today in one file? Make it detailed and precise."
Su Yeon got startled, "Me? ok, I will try," she paused and asked, "Ma'am, umm… can you please give me the rough outline about how am I suppose to arrange it?"
Manager Lui laughed, "Intern Yoon, why are you getting scared? I just told you to rearrange, not to type down everything," and then gave an idea about the outline of the contents.
They reached Central Mall when Su Yeon was midway through completing the file. She just closed the laptop and got down from the car. She took her bag and held the laptop in her hand. Director Choi decided to hold the meeting in the café.
Since there are more than twenty minutes for the meeting, Su Yeon had sufficient time to complete her work. Manager Lui got busy attending the calls from the office. When she was done, she guided Su Yeon for her work.
Surprisingly, Director Choi came ten minutes earlier than the meeting time. Su Yeon got panicked, so she looked at Manager Lui. Manager Lui gave an assured look and signaled not to get panic.
"Good evening Director Choi, I am Manager Lui Hu Bin from Song Empire, if you remember," Manager Lui stood up and extended her hand. Su Yeon also got up. Director Choi gave a smile and greeted back by accepting the handshake, "Good evening Manager Lui, of course, I remember you."
Manager Lui then introduced Su Yeon, "Director Choi, this is my assistant, Intern Yoon." Su Yeon bowed and greeted, "Good evening Director, I am intern Yoon Su Yeon, I am honored to meet you." Director nodded and then everyone sat down.
Director Choi raised his brows and said to Manager Lui, "It's unlike you, Manager Lui. You are allowing an intern to work with you on such an important matter." Manager Lui smiled and replied, "Yes, my assistant will not be there for few days and fortunately, intern Yoon helped me with the analysis and other work besides her assignments. So I decided to bully her a bit."
Director Choi laughed and said, "Do all employees and even interns of the Song Empire are this efficient? Well, see intern Yoon, you are in the hands of the devil, best luck with your work." Su Yeon got nervous but replied, "No-no, it's not like that Director, instead, Manager Lui must get tired since she has to explain many things."
Manager Lui also laughed and said, "Ok, ok, enough of my praising, intern Yoon, you continue your work. Director Choi, is it ok if we start our meeting after a couple of minutes?" Director Choi nodded and said, "Of course, I just had a lunch meeting with Assemblyman Jo so it's ok."
While saying this, Su Yeon noticed that Director Choi gave pressure on the words 'Assemblyman Jo' a bit. He was even praising Song Empire and Manager Lui which was a bit unnecessary. She shook her head and quickly finished her work. When she was done, she looked at Manager Lui and gave a nod.
Even if she was working, Su Yeon realized that both the seniors were hesitating to talk about something when real estate and bidding were brought up. After completing her work, she looked at Manager Lui and moved a bit forward. Manager Lui saw that Su Yeon wanted to say something, so she excused and moved towards her.
Su Yeon whispered hesitatingly, "Ma'am, should I go to give the order. The line is already big, if I go there later, it may increase." Manager Lui got surprised! She looked at the girl beside her and thought, 'This girl… Is she genuinely asking, or she understood…'
Su Yeon gave a short smile and blinked her eyes. Manager Lui praised Su Yeon in her mind and said, "Director Choi, since it's almost tea time, let's order something." Director Choi nodded and said, "Yes of course. I will have a latte then."
Su Yeon said, "Manager Lui, I will go and get the order." Manager Lui took out her card and said while giving it to Su Yeon, "Thank you, Intern Yoon, take this. I will have a…" Su Yeon interrupted and said while smiling, "An espresso double shot!"
Manager Lui was once again surprised and said, "Smart indeed! Don't forget to order for yourself, you did so much work today," while saying this, an unexpected gentleness could be seen in Manager Lui's eyes.
Su Yeon smiled, nodded and excused herself. She went near the counter and stood in the line.
Just then, a group of college boys entered the café. While sitting at the table, one of them said, "…you are really famous between girls? If so, then try flirting with the pretty girl standing over there last in the line…"
